Taylor's POV
~~
We headed home after the 3 Atlanta shows to take a quick break before Tennessee. I was so excited for what was to come, even if Rose didn't know. She had the time of her life backstage with my mom during the shows, dancing and singing. During one of the quick changes, I saw Rose trying on my Lover bodysuit. I laughed as I put my arms through the Rep suit. Not only that, my mic was already on and I accidentally broadcasted my laugh out to the public, so when the show ended, a lot of people were already speculating what I was laughing at online. After the show, Rose also met Tree in the hotel. That was fun.
"Hi," Tree said, walking in, leaving a trail of chaos behind her. "What the hell, Taylor?"
"You... aren't as mad as I thought," I said, and the look she gave me was one of warning. Rose was behind me reading a book I bought for her after she was too embarrassed to ask me for it.
"Well, after yelling at you, I realized you can't just go back." She looked past me and waved at Rose. "Hey, kid. I'm Tree." Rose shyly looked up for a few seconds before smiling slightly and waving.
"I can hide her for as long as you want if that's the problem," I assured Tree, but she scoffed me up, sipping on the wine that Rose poured us. I don't know why she did that, but we thanked her as she sipped her Dr. Pepper.
"That's not what I'm worried about. She's young Taylor. She's not like the Kardashians that were raised like... that."
"I was young too," I said, but Tree stopped me.
"You know what I mean. Rose, sweetie, do you have a phone?" she asked, but I answered her instead of Rose.
"I took it. Drama from people that knew so I private her account, locked her comments, all that."
"Smart. Alright, let me make some calls. Then, I have to give you a crash course on being a celebrity kid. Kind of."
So that's how they met. Rose and I went to New York after that. She had yet to see the house, her room even, so I took her while my dancers and the rest of them went ahead. I had asked my housekeeper to set up Rose's room, so I was excited about it. Not only that, I missed my cats. I opened the door, entering after Rose, but before Colin. The cats came out to see me, but when they saw Rose, they backed off a bit. Rose just stared plainly. She put her hand out, and eventually, Meredith let herself be pet. Meredith then jumped into my arms, and I let Rose explore.

Rose's POV
~~
After Taylor gave me the go-ahead, I had to contain the excitement before trying to find my room. Luckily, whoever had been taking care of the house labeled it for me. I opened the door carefully like something was going to jump out and attack me. When I swung the door open, I was a little underwhelmed. All there I could see was a canopy bed(without the canopy), a vanity, and a computer desk... with a laptop. No posters, but the laptop made me wonder if it was an accident. Taylor peered into the doorway with one of the cats. "I know it's not much, but that's because I wanted you to have a chance to decorate your room." I felt tears well up in my eyes, and Taylor freaked out, putting down the cat and wrapping her arms around me. "No, it's okay! Please don't cry," she said, wiping my tears.
"It's just," I started, sniffling. "I've never had. This," I said, gesturing to the house, the room, everything. Taylor squeezed me. "Thank you," I managed to let out, voice hoarse.
"Of course. By the way, the laptop is set up. Just log in and do whatever you want. You can put anything in your cart and I'll buy it for you."
"What." My eyes widened.
"Yeah, I'm serious! Anything. No limit." I had to process that. I didn't want to look like I was just using her for her money. After all, that's not what I was here for. "Go ahead. I'm going to go do something while you figure all that out." She left me to my thoughts.
It took me about 3 minutes to sit down at the desk and open the laptop. I was shaking as I set up the login and everything. On the desk, there was paper and some pens. This would most likely become my school desk for homework. On the paper, I wrote a list of things I'd seen normal kids have in their rooms, like tapestries, posters, and LED lights. I found posters of my favorite shows and games, as well as string lights for the canopy. I eyed a TV but remembered that I wasn't trying to spend a lot. I thought about clothes, then realized I had to unpack, so I paused to put my suitcase clothes up. As I opened the vanity drawers, I was surprised with a full drawer of clothes. Not the Wal-Mart stuff, the pretty things, off of SHEIN and those types of shops. I sniffled as I looked through some of them, taking out the really old clothes I had. I also checked the closet to find multiple dresses that looked like they were EXPENSIVE. I was surprised Taylor would do something like this for someone she might end up giving back. I held back my emotions as I walked back to the laptop. Less than 150. Good. Still felt like too much, but Taylor had bought me a 20-dollar book in Atlanta, so.
After I was ready to check out, I decided it was time to explore the house and find Taylor. As I did, I found a room with glass looking in, and Taylor had her in-ears on, staring at the wall behind me as she counted and danced. She didn't seem to acknowledge me. I walked in, and she smiled as I watched in awe. She hummed the song, and I started copying her moves a bit. She caught on. "I guess Kam was right! You are a good dancer. Here. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8." She taught me about 8-counts of dancing, which was just a refresher on what Kam had started to teach me. After 30 minutes of practice, we sat down, drank some water, and let the cats come in. One cuddled against my leg, so I pet it. "That's Meredith." I smiled.
"Hi." After some silence, I mustered up the courage to mention my finished task. "I finished adding stuff to my cart."
"Oh, yeah? Good. How much was it?" she asked, and I looked away.
"One... fifty."
"Oh, sweetie. You don't wanna spend my money. Come on, let's go see what else we can get you." She got up and extended her hand to me. "Before we leave. I was thinking. Kam said you liked to dance." I nodded slowly. "What if you dance on stage with me? Once you're ready of course. And you don't have to do it at all." I blinked.
"Can I think about it?" I asked, processing what this could mean.
"Of course. Now let's go buy some decor."
