Georgie
Phoenix glides over the jump and lands gracefully on the other side and i close my eyes and imagine applause ringing on either side of me as we win a show jumping competition beating Olivia in the process. But when i open them again i see the empty jumping pen, a sigh escapes my lips and i pick up a slow canter and approach the next jump but when we get about three steps away from the jump Phoenix freaks and stops in his tracks throwing me from the saddle and on to the hard dirt ground. I lift my head and see Lou running towards me but the world spins and a ringing sounds in my ears, serves me right for not wearing my helmet. Darkness consumes me and all the while i am wondering why i couldn't make that jump.
