Elijah's POV

Why, why, whyyyyy?! Just... why?!

I felt like screaming, punching the wall, smashing something or maybe all of those things. Why did Yulia have to be so... so...

I couldn't say anything bad about her no matter what. I could get angry at her but say something bad? Ha, I couldn't say a word to her if I knew it was rude then I just wouldn't.

Thankfully, the tracking system was still working, the little tracking device was still lodged in her jacket and, most likely, she didn't know a thing about it, completely oblivious to the fact that I had been watching her. Why else would I let her go? Well, I generally wouldn't have let her get away, I only let her slip through my fingers because my trusty henchman, Simon, had called and I had forbidden him to ever call me unless there was an emergency, one that I would not allow to happen.

And the emergency was that mother had somehow found out about Emily... yes, the fucking hoe Emily Hodges. She came to my place, storming and when I didn't let her in, I told Simon not to let her in, she threatened to call the police. Obviously, that was not one thing that set me on edge. No, I could literally have the whole police station set alight and nothing would be done about it and why?Because once you have all the money anyone would ever crave for, you have a good social status and everyone respects you.

Anyways, somehow she found out about my past relationship with Yulia. That didn't scare me at all, she couldn't do anything. I could kill her and the world would carry on as though nothing ever happened. She knew something that I didn't. And she threatened to hurt Yulia if I didn't let her in. And as anyone would have guessed, I let her in. Simon watched over her and once I got back home, I was greeted with a slap.

Right now I'm in my room, thinking whether I should kill Emily now or later. She ended up surviving even after all of her fatal injuries I had blessed her with. It would be better if she never existed at all.

And what I found out about Yulia? Nothing except for the fact that she kept running from one city to another. She was always on the run and all I could do was watch and why? Because if I got to one place, she'd already be at the other. And what scares me the most? What if another guy touches her? I can't let that happen but I know she's not the kind of touchy person. I mean, she still loves me, right?

Pushing my hair back out of my face, I pace back and forth in the room. I'm still thinking what to do, I literally have no idea.

Throwing myself into my chair, I scream out of annoyance before spinning on the chair. As I'm pondering, my phone begins to ring and when I check it, I see it's Simon.

He's probably got something to cheer me up.

Answering the call, I leave the phone on my desk and speak.

"Yes, Simon?"
"It's about Emily..." as he trails off, waiting for my response, I snicker to myself. The constant fear of angering me has really had an effect on everyone.

"What about that slut?" I can't be bothered wasting my time on a hoe like her. I want her to be killed and done with but I haven't just yet, my mother would probably bark on for days about that worthless piece of dogshit. She was a nobody, nothing.

"I think she'd like some... sorting out. If that fine by you sir?" I can literally see the smile stuck on his face whilst he speaks on the other side, it's easy to tell just by hearing his voice.

"Have her prepared. Today's the end for her. And I don't care what mother has to say. This was her own fault so I blame her for it."

With that, I end the phone call and stand up, seeing myself out of the main building, I make my way outside, taking the hidden path that leads to the underground torturing base.
