Yulia's POV
Woah. Now, I think, I might be in a little bit more trouble.
I accidentally drove right into a church. It's an abandoned church but it looks like there must have been someone inside. The sound of someone screaming was loud enough and all I did was run out of the car and wherever my legs took me. The building was small and slightly old, it was the kind of churches that weren't made of stone yet they weren't made in the modern era, you know?
Well, anyways, the reason why I ran away was because the whole place set on fire, it just exploded then the fire suddenly spread and... that's everything, I guess.
I'm walking down the streets, it's been three hours and luckily they haven't found anything about the incident. It's obviously dark since October is coming to an end and winter is nearby, even closer.
So, it's around five in the afternoon and I'm walking with my hood up and my backpack tightly held on my back. The scarf is around my face again and the roads look quite empty.
Maybe I really will be stuck in this city for slightly longer. What if I'm stuck here forever?
Crying out loudly before smacking my hand to my mouth, I look around to make sure no one heard me. Luckily, I'm still lonely. I'm still feeling a bit tipsy from drinking like a prick but it's not that bad, I only crashed the car. Who cares, anyways, I do not want to be stuck here forever. Why couldn't I just get lost into the forest and build my own house and live as a retired witch?
The sound of a car slowing down behind me begins to grow and within seconds, a voice makes me jump back into reality.
"Hello ma'am. You wouldn't mind us aking some questions, would you? We're trying to find someone." Turning around, I see a ginger bearded bald man leaning out the window if a police car. Frowning, I reply.
"No. I haven't seen anyone." I think my voice might have sounded slightly weird because righty after I talk, the policeman questions me.
"Are you okay? You don't happen to be... on drugs? Or drunk at all?" I knew they were onto me and all I do is shake my head and wave them goodbye but once I turn to leave, they don't leave it at that. Instead, he calls out.
"Ma'am, you are under arrest. Your behaviour is demonstrating suspicious activities, as well as the possibility of being drunk.
But before he can even come out of the car, I kick the door shut, setting off his alarmed scream as his hand is trapped in the door, making a dash for the alleyway that leads to black.
Running into the small gap, I whizzing past the dirty matress abandoned in the middle of nowhere and jumping over the upturned bins lying on the ground.
"STOP! IN THE NAME OF THE LAW!" A woman begins to pursue me instead whilst the man runs behind her, clutching his wounded hand. She takes out a taser and it shoots at me. Picking up the bin lid on the ground, I use it as a shield before throwing it at the lady's head but obviously she easily dodges it.
Setting off at the same pace, I leap out of the alleyways and see that both ways lead to neighbourhoods, left and right and forward which was only a forest. Choosing the worst option, I run forwards and jump over the small fence before throwing myself into the land of green. Mud everywhere, leaves on the ground and branches bending lowly. I'm running down the small hill, shielded by the branches and it's only when I'm closer, I see where this actually leads me to.
