Some of Japan's Men's National Volleyball team members gather in the locker room, getting ready for practice and their team meeting where they will meet their new analyst. The team is talking about a mystery woman who was with Kuroo. The baby of the team saw the two of them walking around the training centre.
"Did Kuroo actually say that the woman he was with is our new analyst?" Aran asks as he closes his locker.
"No... But I followed them around for a while before I introduced myself to Kuroo and the lady. It sounded like he was giving her a tour. And didn't Kuroo mention a while ago that the new analyst would be a woman?" Suzuki Nao, the youngest on the Japan Men's National Volleyball Team rambles on passionately.
"He did say it would be a woman, but let's rewind to the part where you follow them around, for a while?" Yaku repeats Nao's words in disbelief.
"Stalker," Suna mumbles as he fakes a cough.
"Nah, you saw her too Rin." Nao points at Suna, attempting to defend himself from his shamelessness.
"I saw the back of her because I was walking to the locker room with you and they happened to be in front of us. But you carried on following Kuroo and the woman." Suna explains.
Bokuto, Hinata, and Atsumu enter the locker room mid-conversation and plop their bags on the empty wooden bench next to Kageyama.
"Who's following who?" Atsumu yawns through his sentence.
"Nao-san was following a woman around in the training centre just before he got here. I think because he has never had a girlfriend before." Kageyama answers nonchalantly.
Aran, Suna, and Yaku quietly snort. Bokuto gasps as he covers his mouth with his hand. While Hinata and Atsumu look at each other, holding back their smiles.
"Hey! Not everyone has it as easy as you pretty boy." Nao whines. He's very aware of the female attention that Kageyama receives, and the fact that Kageyama blatantly doesn't care for it rubs salt in the wound for Nao.
"It's okay, I've also never had a girlfriend," Kageyama replies. His honesty and straightforwardness are definitely a double-edged sword and Nao is still coming to terms with it.
