"Thank you so much miss, you don't know how much this means to me" the lady said and her boss just chuckled

"No need to thank me, you deserve that week off and I know that your parents miss you a lot so go on, enjoy your vacation" Yeji said with a smile as one of her employees left.

Yeji stretched her arms and then stood up from her seat. It was already 11 in the evening and it was the first time for her to be leaving work so late.

She gets her things and goes out of her office to finally go home.

She drives back home and as soon as she parks her car, she notices that her butlers were carrying up some things.

She got down from her car and made way towards them.

"What's all of this?" Yeji asked

"Good evening Miss Hwang, your wife had arrived an hour ago and we're bringing her things inside" one of the butlers said

"Oh, she already arrived? that was quick" Yeji said as she goes inside, being followed by one of the maids.

"Mr. Lee wanted her to leave their house as soon as possible" one said

"What? that's weird" Yeji said as she furrowed her eyebrows.

"Anyways, has she eaten already Yubin?"

"She refused to eat miss, we asked her if she wanted anything that we can cook or order from outside but she didn't want to" Yubin said and Yeji nodded

"Okay, thank you for checking on her, so where is she right now?" Yeji asked

"She's in your room Miss, already sleeping" Yubin said and Yeji nodded

"Would you want to have dinner first miss?" Yubin asked

"No need, I'll be off to bed now" Yeji said with a smile and made her way upstairs. She goes to the room and walks further in, she sees the girl already sleeping. She knew a few things about the girl after talking with Mr. Lee, but she wasn't sure if it were all true.

Mr. Lee did said that she was quite stubborn.

Although she wanted to introduce herself to the girl, she was afraid that Chaeryeong wouldn't like the idea of marrying a person of the same gender. She lets out a sigh and then walks towards her bathroom to get ready for bed.

She didn't actually expect for something like this to happen to her but since it was about collaboration of companies, she had to do it.

As she was done changing into her pajamas, she gets a phone call.

"Yeji dear, how are you?"

"Hi eomma" Yeji chuckled softly

"I'm fine, how about you and appa?"

"We're both doing good, your father and I had went to a lot of places, we made sure to buy things for you guys"

"Thanks eomma, also, I'm glad you're enjoying your vacation. You and appa can now be stress free from work"

"Thanks to you as well, you and Hyunjin were so sweet and kind on taking the business for us"

"No problem eomma"

"By the way, has Chaeryeong arrived yet? Yubin had contacted us a while ago that you were all busy"

"Yes eomma, she's here now asleep. I don't know why she arrived so early" Yeji said as she glances at the younger who was sleeping

"I guess her father really doesn't want her around anymore" Mrs. Hwang said and sighed

"What do you mean eomma?"

"I'll tell you about it when I get back home. Do stay safe Yeji, and take care of Chaeryeong"

"How will I if I'm not sure she'll be fine on marrying a woman. You know how other people are eomma"

"I'm sure she'll warm up to you sweetheart. Don't worry much about it"

"Okay, well, enjoy the rest of your vacation eomma"

"We will, love you sweetheart"

"Love you too eomma"

They end the call and Yeji goes to the bed, she was unsure if she could sleep beside the younger, she was afraid that if the younger wakes up, she would be so frightened to see her.

She then decides to just sleep on the couch they had in the room, it was massive anyways. She then settles on the couch and later on falls asleep.

When morning came, Chaeryeong stretches her arms and then lets out a soft hum. The bed was quite cozy and it helped her sleep much better.

She sits up and notices that she was still alone in the room, it confused her, she was expecting to see her contract husband as soon as she wakes up.

She gets down the bed and sees a piece of paper by the nightstand.

Sorry for not meeting you formally last night and if I can't talk to you this morning. Something urgent came up at the company. I'll try to see you by lunch if that's okay with you. I hope you had a wonderful rest last night and I'm looking forward to see you later darling.

I put your clothes in the walk-in-closet, If ever you're hungry, just tell Yubin. She'll be with you all the time.

Chaeryeong puts back the paper on the nightstand, she felt a little bit disappointed that she couldn't meet her contract husband but maybe later right?

She checks the walk in closet and was quite shocked to see all her clothes were organized already. After picking some clothes, she went to the bathroom and took a bath, there were already toiletries that she needs. She took a bath, changed her clothes and then goes downstairs to have some breakfast.

"Good morning Miss, what would you want for breakfast?" Yubin asked with a smile

"Oh, uhm, I'll have french toast? is that alright?" Chaeryeong asked and Yubin nodded with a smile

"Sure miss, we'll prepare that right away" Yubin said and left. Chaeryeong just smiled, well, she was used to things like this, where maids would cook whatever she wants. She looks out of the window and sees that there is a garden. She decided to go out first to check it out, she always loved gardens and seeing one made her so happy.

She goes out and sees that there were different flowers around but none of her most favorite one.

"Good day miss" she hears and turns to see another maid

"I'm Seyoung, one of the maids here" Seyoung said with a smile

"Good morning" Chaeryeong said simply with a smile.

"You seem to like the garden miss" Seyoung said with a smile

"Mhm, but I do prefer having some carnations or tulips" Chaeryeong said and Seyoung nodded

"Maybe we can tell Mis-" they were cut off when they heard a car pull over. They both went towards the gate and it was Yeji, going in.

"Oh hello Miss, Hwang, back so soon?" Seyoung asked

"Yes, unfortunately, the meeting was cancelled" Yeji said and chuckled

Chaeryeomg was just at the side, watching.

"Oh, hi Darling" Yeji said with a smile, wanting to be sweet towards the younger

Darling? Chaeryeong thought

She kept quiet, she didn't know she would be marrying someone with the same gender.
