They went out, of course Yeji bought the younger some drinks from a café nearby and then she drove off to somewhere else, the younger did said she wanted some fresh air so Yeji chose that they would go to Han River.
"We're here Darling" Yeji said as she opens the door for the younger and helps her out
"Thank you" Chaeryeong said with a smile
They went over to the grass and Yeji laid a picnic blanket down so that the younger was comfortable.
They sat down and just looked around the river.
"Yeji" Chaeryeong called and it made Yeji a bit curious since the younger called her by her name, which was quite rare now since Chaeryeong had been calling her 'baby' ever since that day.
"Hmm?"
"Isn't it weird?" Chaeryeong asked and it made the older look at her
"What's weird?" Yeji asked
"Everything, especially to me. I just, I can't believe how fast my life had changed just because of this" Chaeryeong said as she keeps looking out at the river.
"Us? our marriage?"
"Well, more likely the contract" Chaeryeong said and laughed bitterly.
"It's amazing how easy it was for my dad to sell out his daughter, I guess he wanted money so he sold me to you" Chaeryeong said and finally looked at Yeji.
"But he only sold me for a year and a half, then i would go back to his house" Chaeryeong said
"That's not going to happen Darling, I won't let that happen" Yeji says.
"What's the point, I'm sure you're going to sell me as well. Nobody wants me, my mom abandoned me, making me stay with my abusive father then my dad sold me to you, I won't be surprised if you'd do the same thing" Chaeryeong said and sighs, she looks away from the older
"People just use me for money" Chaeryeong added
"Darling, money is not enough to buy you, you're worth more than that" Yeji said
"You're worth more than everything than I could think of. I could give a ton of reasons why but it wouldn't be enough" Yeji says and it made Chaeryeong look at her
"Why did you even accepted it? Why did you allow him to sell me to you?" Chaeryeong asked
"The world is a scary place Darling, I'd rather have him give you to me than any other person alive" Yeji said and looks at the younger as well
"You're not sure of that"
"True, but still. As soon as Mr. Lee had showed me a picture of you, I couldn't imagine anyone else to take you. I knew you were gonna be safe with me, I wouldn't let anyone hurt you" Yeji added and Chaeryeong's eyes were starting to form tears.
"And I'll make sure that even after that contract, he won't ever be able to touch you, not even a single strand of your hair" Yeji says and Chaeryeong starts tearing up.
"What did I do to even deserve you?" Chaeryeong asks and sighs
"I should be the one asking that Darling, you're nothing but a ball of sunshine, you were a bit cold back then but later on, I knew you'd open up to me and show how you truly are and I must say, I'm very lucky to have you as my wife" Yeji said and it just made Chaeryeong cry harder.
"Come here Darling" Yeji said and then Chaeryeong goes closer to her and Yeji wraps her arms around her, making her feel warm from the cold breeze.
"You don't have to be afraid Darling, I'll make sure to protect you" Yeji said and kisses the younger's forehead
They stayed there at the side of Han River, just feeling the cold breeze touch their skin.
"Baby" Chaeryeong called the older and Yeji finally smiled
"Yes Darling?" Yeji asked
"I'm sleepy now" Chaeryeong said softly
"Go ahead and sleep Darling" Yeji said and Chaeryeong nodded as she hid her face on the crook of Yeji's neck.
"Will you be holding me till I wake up?"
"I will Darling" Yeji said and then Chaeryeong felt relaxed, she snuggled closer to the older and drifts off to sleep.
Yeji, following her word, she calls one of their butlers so that they could pick them up since she did told the younger she would be holding her until she wakes up in the morning.

They had now reach the house and Yeji carried the younger bridal style on the way to their room. She was about to place the younger on the bed but she starts talking in her sleep
"Baby~" Chaeryeong whined softly in her sleep
"Hmm?" Yeji hummed softly
"Stay" Chaeryeong simply says in her sleep, her eyebrows furrowing
"I have to change my clothes Darling" Yeji said but Chaeryeong shook her head, still asleep of course
"You want me to just lay down beside you now?" Yeji asked
"Y-Yes" Chaeryeong said softly and lets out a soft sigh
Yeji couldn't say no so she immediately lays down beside the younger and brings her in her arms again.
"Goodnight my Darling, I love you" Yeji said softly and then closes her eyes, she wasn't expecting the younger to say it back but then
"I love you too" Chaeryeong says softly and moves closer to Yeji, wanting to be held on night long.
Yeji chuckles and caresses the younger's back until they are both in deep slumber.
