Waking up, Chaeryeong lets out a soft yawn as she stretches her arms. She slowly flutters her eyes open and then smiles, she enjoyed spending time with Lia last night. It has been so long since she experienced something so fun and of course, feeling free.
"Ms. Chaeryeong"
She heard, and then groans a little, it was just 7:30 in the morning, too early for her to do anything other than reading a book.
"What is it?" Chaeryeong asked
"Your father wants to speak to you right now during breakfast" the maid said and it makes Chaeryeong annoyed, what is it again that her father wants her to do.
She gets up and then takes a bath to get ready as usual, since she was used to taking a bath and getting dressed before going downstairs. She hurriedly does as soon as so and goes down.
"Good, you're finally awake" Mr. Lee said as if he was annoyed.
"What do you want to talk about dad?" Chaeryeong asked
"Take a sit first" Mr. Lee said and Chaeryeong followed. She sat down across her father and then waited.
"So, I told you I've been making a deal with a very well known company, and we already sealed it, and by that, there's something in exchange" Mr. Lee said and Chaeryeong just nodded
"And that exchange is something that will really be helpful for me" Mr. Lee added
"And what would that be?" Chaeryeong asked and raised her brow
"You'll be marrying the heir of the CEO" Mr. Lee and Chaeryeong's eyebrows furrowed as she heard what her father said.
"W-what?!"
"You're getting married. You'll finally be able to leave this house and not be a nuisance to me anymore" Mr. Lee says and smirks.
"NO! YOU CAN'T DO THAT TO ME!" Chaeryeong said and stood up from her seat
"You promised! you promised me! you promised mom! and you-" before Chaeryeong could even finish, her father was already standing in front of her and suddenly grabs her by the neck, almost choking her.
"You know you shouldn't be talking about that woman. And you... you're nothing but just an accessory to me. I just used you so that I could get that deal" Mr. Lee said as he was still grabbing her by the neck.
He chuckles deeply and looks at his daughter's eyes that were swelling up with tears.
"That woman is so stupid for even leaving you with me, all she cares about is your older sister and once again, you're nothing to them, you're nothing to anyone. So remember this, as long as I live, you'll just be an accessory to everyone and I'll make sure of that. Oh also, I knew you sneak out yesterday, you went out again without my permission" Mr. Lee said and pushes her, she stumbles to the ground, holding onto her chest and neck as she tries to catch her breath
"Make sure to leave first thing tomorrow, I don't want to see you anymore after that"
He leaves the house with his things and the maids immediately goes towards Chaeryeong to help her. She couldn't stop crying and she was having trouble on breathing.
"Hana, get some water!" Serin said as she lets the younger sit up properly.
"Chaery~ I came to check on you and-" Lia was cut off when she sees the commotion
"Chaeryeong?!" Lia said in shock and ran towards the younger. She planned to bring the younger some pastries as she visited her.
She was able to get closer to Chaeryeong and the younger held her hand.
