"Are you really sure Darling? I don't want to forcer you to attend this dinner if you don't want to" Yeji said worriedly as she looked at her wife
"I-I'll be fine, it's just your family right? I've met Hwang eomma already. I'm sure I'll be alright" Chaeryeong said, reassuring the older.
"Okay, but do tell me me if you feel uncomfortable" Yeji said and Chaeryeong nodded.
Yeji leaves a kiss on the younger's temple before they leave the room and goes out to the car.
"We might be back very late Seyoung or probably even be back in the morning. I'll message you or Yubin" Yeji said and Seyoung nodded.
They then go to the car, Yeji opened the door for Chaeryeong and the younger went in. Yeji goes to the other side and then enters as well.
She starts the car and then drives off to her parent's house.
"We brought all the things right?" Chaeryeong asked, wanting to make sure that they had everything with them.
"Yes Darling, all the gifts are at the back" Yeji said and Chaeryeong nodded and lets out a sigh.
Yeji knows that the younger was nervous so she holds the younger's hand and brings it closer to her and kisses the back of it.
"Calm down Darling, everything we'll be fine" Yeji said and kisses the back of her hand again.
Chaeryeong felt a little bit better as soon as Yeji had reassured her.
After a few minutes, they had arrived at Yeji's parent's house.
"Are we late?" Chaeryeong asked as she sees a different car parked up front.
"We aren't, Hyunjin is just so early. He lives closer to eomma and appa" Yeji said and Chaeryeong nodded
They got down from the car and Yeji got the gifts that Chaeryeong bought for them.
She then goes to the younger and holds her by the waist. They walked towards the door and Yeji pressed the button for the doorbell.
"You're tense Darling" Yeji whispered to the younger
"S-Sorry" Chaeryeong said softly and she felt Yeji kiss her temple. She looks at the older and Yeji just smiles at her
"You'll be okay Darling, I'm here" Yeji said and Chaeryeong finally smiled, feeling calm.
The door then opens and it revealed Hwang eomma.
"Yeji! Chaery! you two are here" Hwang eomma said with a smile and hugged the two
"How are the two of you?" Hwang eomma asked as she lets them in.
"We're fine eomma" Yeji said with a smile
"Oh eomma, Chaeryeong has something for you" Yeji said and then motions Chaeryeong to give the gift that she chose for Hwang eomma.
"O-Oh, yes, here you go Hwang eomma" Chaeryeong said and gave the paper bag to her.
"You didn't have to dear but thank you, I appreciate it" Hwang eomma said and hugged her.
She then leads the two to the dining area where the others were.
"So this is Hyunjin, you already met him right Chaer?" Hwang eomma asked and Chaeryeong nodded with a smile
"And this is Felix, his boyfriend" Hwang eomma said
"Nice to meet you Chaeryeong, Yeji had told us about you" Felix said with a smile and puts out a hand. Of course Chaeryeong accepted it and shook his hand.
