That night, Yeji was getting ready for bed as Chaeryeong was already seated on her side of the bed, reading a book once again.

(Also they still don't sleep together, it was only for one night because Chaeryeong was crying)

"Yeji" Chaeryeong called as soon as Yeji went out of the bathroom

"Yes?" Yeji asked as she looked at the younger and went towards her.

"Can you umm, if it's okay?" Chaeryeong asked and placed the book aside, on the nightstand.

"What is?" Yeji asked

"I wanted you to sleep beside me tonight, if it's okay with you?" Chaeryeong asked shyly and Yeji chuckled

"Of course, if that's what you want" Yeji said with a smile

"Also..."

"Hmm?"

"Can you call me that nickname again?" Chaeryeong asked

"Chaery?" Yeji asked confused but Chaeryeong shook her head. Later on, Yeji realized what the younger meant and she lets out a heartfelt chuckle.

"Darling" Yeji said and looked at the younger's eyes

"Y-Yeah, I actually like it when you call me like that. It sounds, sweet" Chaeryeong said shyly once again and Yeji couldn't help but chuckle at the younger's cuteness

"I'll call you that then starting today, okay Darling?" Yeji said and it made Chaeryeong smile, it was just something that makes her heart melt

"So do you want to sleep now Darling?" Yeji asked but Chaeryeong shook her head

"I still want to read this book but can you stay beside me now?" Chaeryeong asked and Yeji nodded

Yeji then goes to her side and slips in the bed and under the duvet. Chaeryeong grabs the book and scoots closer to the older, leans her body against her and reads the book.

Yeji chuckles, she also reads what was written on the book. She chuckles, it seems like Chaeryeong enjoys reading rom-com novels.

"You love that book?"

"Mhm, well, I haven't been able to buy a new one yet" Chaeryeong said and Yeji nodded

"Oh Darling" Yeji called

"Hmm?"

"Your dad called me a while ago, he wanted to talk to you tomorrow" Yeji said

"About what?" Chaeryeong asked worriedly

"He didn't told me about what but he said he wanted to see you" Yeji said

"No, please, I don't want to see him. I don't want to be alone when I meet him" Chaeryeong said worriedly, she was definitely traumatized by her father already.

"Darling, I refused for him to see you alone. So I told him its either I'll come along or he wouldn't see you at all. I can't let you go see him alone anymore" Yeji said and Chaeryeong starts to tear up.

"T-Thank you" Chaeryeong sobbed and suddenly hugged Yeji. It did shocked Yeji but she hugged her back, whispering comforting words to her.

"I won't let him hurt you Darling" Yeji said and kissed her forehead.

Later on, they both drifted off to sleep with Chaeryeong wrapped in Yeji's arms.

When morning came Yeji was still sound asleep, as Chaeryeong was slowly waking up. She was staring at the older's face, her eyes, her nose and even her lips caught Chaeryeong's attention. She puts up her hand and starts tracing Yeji's face.
