Chaeryeong's eyes widened and she held the side of her neck. She wasn't supposed to show it, she was supposed to wear a turtle neck.
She gulped, scared to tell Yeji.
"Hey, is there something wrong? you can tell me" Yeji said worriedly
"N-Nothing, its.... its nothing" Chaeryeong said and then stood up from the bed. She was about to leave but Yeji held her hand, she stopped her.
Chaeryeong thought that the older would pull her back hard but she just felt the older holding her hand.
"Please tell me, I know it may be hard, but I'm here to listen to you" Yeji said and Chaeryeong felt tears in her eyes. As Yeji looked at her more worriedly, the tears had fallen to her cheeks already.
Yeji felt so bad so she stood up and brought the younger to a hug.
"Shhh, it's okay" Yeji comforted her.
As Chaeryeong had calmed down a little, they both sat back down on the bed.
"I.. I've been abused ever since my mom went away along with my sister"
"My dad would always hurt me, until he was satisfied" Chaeryeong said and wiped off her tears.
"I, I always tried to hide my scars. I don't want anyone to see them, I don't want anyone to know how I was treated before" Chaeryeong said softly and starts crying once more
Yeji felt so bad, she wanted to hug the younger but she doesn't know if Chaeryeong wanted space or wanted to be held.
Screw that Yeji thought
She gently brings the younger into a hug and Chaeryeong leaned her body on the older. Yeji caressed her back and she felt Chaeryeong moving closer and later on hides her face on the crook of Yeji's neck.
"I'm so sorry, I'm sorry that happened to you. You didn't deserve that treatment" Yeji said and caressed her back and Chaeryeong choked through her cries, Yeji patted her back gently and Chaeryeong was still sobbing.
"You'll get sick if you keep on crying Chaeryeong, calm down now please" Yeji said worriedly, she didn't want the younger to get sick.
After a few while, Chaeryeong had fallen asleep in Yeji's arms.
Yeji stood up and carefully places the younger on the bed, as she was about to let go of the younger, she felt Chaeryeonv gripping on her shirt.
"Don't go please" Chaeryeong said softly
She's still awake?
"P-Please" Chaeryeong said and Yeji looked at her face, her eyebrows were furrowed and she looks so distressed.
Yeji was unsure on how they could go to sleep but she had no choice but lay down beside the younger and hugged her. She doesn't care whatever happens in the morning.
"Goodnight Darling" Yeji said softly and then kissed her forehead before also sleeping.
When morning came, Yeji was still hugging the younger and she was still sleeping. But Chaeryeong on the other hand was starting to wake up.
She yawns and flutter her eyes open but once she sees Yeji so close to her, her eyes widened and pushed Yeji which caused the older to be in shock and fall to the floor.
"Ouch!" Yeji hissed and then tries to stand up
"That's so harsh of you Chaery" Yeji said and rubbed the side of her arm
