~Chapter 74~

It's been three days since Hyunjin and Felix had Felix's pregnancy test. The symptoms that the doctor had warned, were showing one by one. Felix felt like his appetite was rising more than before, he practically sneaked into the kitchen almost like countless times in a day. He would eat and eat, then throw everything. That made him almost reach to the point where he cried on his Alpha's chest telling that he was bothering Hyunjin so much, he wouldn't eat for now.

And after a few moments he would desire something. The effects weren't that Conspicuous, he just had grown up craving the Alpha's scent more and more, as if he wanted his alpha to be with him almost every time, and for sure there was also one of his fears growing from a bud to the plant.

Hyunjin was extremely careful with him even though Felix had assured him that it had been just a few days, he wasn't that sensitive nor had a big belly but Hyunjin would always protest saying it's his responsibility to take care of his Omega.

The night seeped with a gentle calm, blanketing the room in silver moonlight that filtered through the curtains. Felix lay beside Hyunjin, his head resting on the Alpha's chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart. It was a sound he found himself craving more and more, like an anchor amid all the uncertainty.

"Hubby..." Felix's voice was a soft murmur, barely loud enough to break the quiet.

"Hmm?" Hyunjin ran his fingers gently through Felix's hair, his touch as soothing as the moonlit night itself.

Felix hesitated, words catching in his throat. "I... I'm scared," he admitted, his voice tinged with vulnerability. "Everything's changing so fast. I don't even know how your parents will react. What if... what if they don't accept it?"

Hyunjin's hand stilled, his gaze focused on the ceiling as he absorbed Felix's words. "They'll accept it," he finally replied, his voice a mix of confidence and quiet determination. "They might need time to adjust, but they'll accept us. You and our little one mean everything to me, Felix. I'll fight for that, no matter what."

A faint smile tugged at Felix's lips as he felt the reassurance in Hyunjin's voice. He nestled closer, letting himself be wrapped in his Alpha's warmth, feeling his anxieties ease, if only a little.

As the first hints of dawn colored the sky, Felix drifted off in Hyunjin's arms, feeling a rare moment of peace. The Omega's glittering eyes followed his husband's face, that was equally tensed. Hyunjin had realised the subtle tension and unbalanced relationship going on his family, especially to his mother.

He knew his mother very well, if she didn't like and didn't want so no one can go against her.

Hyunjin took a deep breath, as if he was trying to release the burden but it only got heavier.

" sooner or later, we have to tell them or they'll find out by themselves," Hyunjin muttered more to himself. His gaze drifted to the Omega, to his tense expression. His breathing was steady, trying to take less stress as possible. "Are you ready for it, love?" Felix gulped a lump in his throat. Heart pounding in dilemma.

Hyunjin stared at Felix, he could sense Omega's hesitent and nervousness, that made him feel terrible. His protective instincts inflating since his mate got pregnant. Felix released a dense sigh, "I don't know," he whispered, couldn't answer properly, his eyes instinctively followed to his belly, where he put a hand on, "it's not about only us, since we are family, we should listen everyone's perspective," the Omega said.
