Sid stand up from his chair. He was unable to make eye contact with him
Rishabh-I want you to marry her. I already talk to Avni and explain everything. I want you to be happy, Sid. Both of you
Sid's eyes filled with tears as he took the envelope, feeling the weight of his brother's sacrifice. He knew that Rishabh was right, that he couldn't live without Avni, but the thought of causing his brother pain was unbearable. "Thank you," he said, his voice a mere whisper. Rishabh hug Sid and patted his back
The rest of the day passed
As the sun set, the three of them stood in their garden, Rishabh was standing between Avni and Sid. The cool evening air carrying the scent of flowers. Rishabh's eyes were closed. His childhood memories with Sid were running in his mind,when they used to play at the same garden. Avni looked at Rishabh, her eyes filled with gratitude. "Thank you," she whispered.
Rishabh came back to reality and looked at Avni. He forced a smile, his heart breaking into a million pieces seeing Avni. "Don't thank me," he said, his voice gruff. "Just be happy."
And with that, he turned and walked away, leaving Sid and Avni standing together, the future stretching out before them
As they watched Rishabh disappear into the shadows, Sid took Avni's hand, feeling the warmth of her skin and the tremble of her fingers. They stood there for a moment, their hearts racing in sync with the beat. The tension of the past weeks washed away leaving only the promise of a future filled with love and understanding.
Still Avni was afraid because whoever she loved she lost. He hands were trembling remembering her past. Sid tightly hold Avni's hand. She knew it wouldn't be easy, but she was willing to try. The love they felt for each other was too strong to ignore.
