Despite the definition of a day off, the body is a creature of habit. Therefore, even though Elizabeth could have slept in, she was awake at seven the next morning. And by nine, she was tired of a day off. She had made breakfast, started laundry, cleaned the kitchen and living room, went for a long overdue run, taken a shower, and channel surfed for fifteen minutes.

However, it barely mattered as the rest of Team Flash was in a similar situation if the text message from Cisco was any indication. 'S.T.A.R. Labs at 10? Bring Barry's fav board game!' Elizabeth grinned as she hopped off her couch. She rushed to dress and thought through Barry's least favorite games before deciding on Uno. That was Elizabeth's favorite. Barry only hated it because he could never prove she was cheating. Of course, it was always his word against hers; and Joe was a sucker for pouting eyes and quivering lips.

Sliding on her new leather jacket, Elizabeth caught herself in the mirror as she stepped to leave her room, but she paused. She had thrown on a simple, black button-up dress and her casual combat boots, but as she stared and tilted her head slightly, she felt like she was missing something, but she wasn't sure what. It wasn't her hair; it was down and brushed out like always. It wasn't the dress itself. It looked good with the jacket. Actually, Elizabeth can't remember when she last wore it or where she got it to begin with.

Tossing her eyes across her dresser-made vanity, Elizabeth began to dig around. Accessories were a good start. She found some sheer, ripped knee-high socks. They worked well with her boots. Then, she found some necklaces, layering them up, and followed with rings and bracelets. Finally, she found some arm bracers she had thrifted a while back. She never could style them properly, but she slipped them on. Checking in the mirror again, Elizabeth felt a wave of confidence overtake her. She looked good...and familiar. Now that she thought about it, her outfit on that road was similar. A red shawl instead of leather accompanied the dress, but everything else was a carbon copy. It had been a long time since Elizabeth last dressed up, but today felt different, so what were the odds she would recreate that outfit?

Shaking her head, Elizabeth decided it was best not to dwell on things that didn't have easy answers. So, rushing through foundation, mascara, eyeliner, blush, and lip gloss, Elizabeth grabbed her worn Uno deck and stuffed it in her bag. Then, she reached for her phone, noticing two things when the screen lit up. One a text from Leonard. It was a simple "Can't wait to see you. Be home soon" with a wink emoji sent at 9:15. The following observation was that it was now 9:45; the fact that it took her thirty minutes of Central City traffic on a good day to make it to S.T.A.R. Labs sunk in immediately.

"Oh, to have Barry's speed," Elizabeth grumbled as she began to dash around her apartment and then out the door. Luckily, it was a good day, as she made it to S.T.A.R. Labs at 10:15. Walking in, she met Caitlin right out of the elevator. "Am I the last to show?" Elizabeth called, smiling, and brought Caitlin's attention up from her phone. "Yeah. I was just about to text you," Caitlin said gently as the two began to walk silently to the cortex.
