Hoseok sat alone on his bed, his legs crossed as he ran a hand through his hair, replaying the hurtful encounter with the Kim brothers and their mother. The words they’d thrown at him still stung, sharper than he’d expected. Being called a gold digger, as if he was only after their wealth, cut deep. He might not have much, but he was responsible and damn proud of it. They didn’t see that, though, and that hurt more than he wanted to admit.
Suddenly, a loud, insistent knock shattered his thoughts. He closed his eyes, already guessing who it might be. With a sigh, he stood and opened the door. As he suspected, all six brothers stood there, their expressions as cold as steel.
He didn’t want to see them right now, but they gave him no choice as they crowded in, leaving him barely any space to breathe. Taehyung shut the door behind them, and Hoseok felt cornered.
“What do you want?” he asked, eyes flickering away from their intense stares.
Jin took a step forward, folding his arms. “You’re going to go to our father, and you’re going to call off the wedding. Now.”
Hoseok let out a short laugh, shaking his head. “That’s not happening. Your father already paid my parents a significant amount. I can’t just call it off.”
Jungkook stepped forward, his face twisted in anger. “I don’t give a damn about that! Get down there and tell him you’re done with this. I know damn well you don’t want this marriage too. So cut the crap and end it. It’s better for everyone.”
Hoseok crossed his arms, meeting Jungkook’s glare head-on. “You done talking? Because I’m not calling off the wedding. Deal with it.”
Suddenly, Jimin stepped forward, his hand shooting out to grab a handful of Hoseok’s hair, yanking hard. Hoseok gasped, pain shooting through his scalp as he struggled to pry Jimin’s hand off him.
“You’re gonna do as we say, or so help me, you’re gonna regret it,” Jimin hissed, tightening his grip.
Hoseok clenched his teeth, a sharp surge of anger flaring up as he shouted back, “No!” With a burst of strength, he shoved Jimin away, who stumbled back in surprise.
Hoseok stormed to the door, throwing it open. “Get the hell out! Now! Or I’ll go to your father myself, and trust me, you won’t like what I tell him.”
Each of the brothers glared at him, unrelenting. Namjoon stepped forward, his tone cold and threatening. “You’re gonna regret this, Hoseok.”
Hoseok scoffed, refusing to be intimidated. “Like I care. I’m stronger than you think. You won’t break me.”
Yoongi smirked, locking eyes with Hoseok, a dark glint in his gaze. “We’ll see about that.” He turned and walked out, the others following without another word.
As the last one left, Hoseok slammed the door behind them, his heart racing as he leaned back, taking a moment to steady his breath. They could threaten him all they wanted, but he wasn’t backing down.
