"That's not quite what I expected you to say," Melheis says before raising his staff, summoning more magic. "Even though you dispelled Beno Ievun, I still have more than enough reserves, which means your death is inevitable."

"Oh, but you've set things up for us so nicely," Anos said as he and Akari appeared behind Melheis, placing a hand on his shoulder.

Melheis was in shock, but didn't show it. He tried to heal the wound he obtained from the spirit sword, but it didn't seem to work. "How did you enter my absolute space? You would have had to have marked me. But there are no signs of that."

Akari slightly rolls her eyes. "Is magic power all you can see? Look closer. You should understand by now how that spirit sword works."

"Impossible."

"Now then, as long as you remain in here, there's nothing we can do to win against you. Isn't that right?" Anos asked as his grip on his shoulder tightened.

"If you think you've got the upper hand because you've set foot on the same stage, you're sadly mistaken." Melheis used Beno Ievun on the two royals once again, but this time in a different form. The two were now trapped in a sphere. "You can't possibly thwart all of this Demon King's magic with what's left of your pathetic reserves of power. It's time to bid you farewell, Demon King and Queen Anos and Akari." The sphere then exploded, but his eyes widened as the two came out unharmed. "It can't be." He tried the same thing again, but got the same result. "You couldn't have survived that. There's no way."

Akari stepped forward and summoned her sword, Murasaki. She stared at Melheis with a glare. "You said it yourself. After being reincarnated, one can only use a 10th of his magic power. Anos is no exception. But thanks to the spirit train ring and Beno Ievun, his destruction source was given a rude awakening."

"So, as strong as you were, you still hadn't regained all of the magic power you had before you reincarnated yourself?" Melheis realized.

Anos spoke with a little smirk. "That's right. So thanks for your help." After he finished, Akari lifted a sword, ready to strike.

"Don't you make a move." Melheis said as he used Beno Ievun to protect him and created a portal to escape.

"It's no use!" Akari exclaimed as she swung her sword, magic coming from the sword and towards Melheis, who barely dodged, or well so he thought. He turned to them.

"I'll make my retreat, but only for now. Next time..." he didn't get to finish as his upper body fell off. He grunted and he sat up on his elbows. "But I dodged that..."

"You thought you could save yourself just by dodging it?" Anos asked as he and Akari walked to him. "The magic Blade of Darkness defies all laws, and so does the magic Sword of Destruction."

A/n: I've decided to change Akari's sword Murasaki to Blade of Darkness since Anos' sword is already Sword of Destruction :>

Melheis looked down. "But how is that even possible?" He tried using his magic to stop them both, specifically Akari, but Anos quickly stopped it. "No. You can't. You can't!"

"It seems pretty obvious that we can," Akari said as she stabbed Melheis in the head, not killing him, but killing whatever kind of magic in his body. "I see now. Time to wake up, Melheis." After that, the real Melheis came back and brought them back to the real world where time was frozen inside the arena.

Akari put her sword away and looked down at Melheis with slight sadness. "The sword of subordination. What a cruel thing to inflict upon you."

Melheis bowed to the two. "Please forgive me, my lord and lady. I was taken by surprise."
