Felix was in charge of driving the shuttle, Mark was busy looking out for other enemy shuttles, and I sat on the windowsill; looking out as the sky grew to a dark blue.

The rain has stopped now, and the clouds were finally uncovering.
"We're here!", Felix called out to the crew.

We jumped out of the latch and walked up to Wade's front door.

It looked like it was midnight now; there was a single light post right beside Wade's door.

Knock knock

We hear a few footsteps until finally, the door opens to show a middle-aged man with a short beard.
"Oh, hey you guys", he settled his eyes on me,"who's the girl?"

"We'll explain everything", Mark says as he walks in.

Later that night, Mark tells Wade about everything that happened.
I sat on one of his comfy couches to listen, Felix was searching the refrigerator, and Mark was standing up and explaining to Wade.

Wade nodded and listened the whole time. You couldn't help but notice the his eyes growing in shock.

"So, we flew all over here from Detroit, and we're going to need some guns", Mark looked at Wade with a concerned face.

"Ok, follow me", Wade sat up from his chair and walked downstairs to a single door.

He unlocked it and opened it for us to see.
Walking in, the room was filled with full loaded weapons.

Felix catches up behinds us and he stumbles before all the armory.

"W-whoa..Why do you have all this?", Felix tapped Wade on the shoulder.

Wade slowly turned to him with a very serious face; "I was warned this would happen"

Mark and I stop looking around and turn to him to hear more.

"Who?", Mark showed a hint of worry in his tone of voice.

"Can't say", Wade lightly mutters.

Felix picks up a very advanced gun from the shelf.

"Good taste", Wade smiled as he points to the gun; "That there is a AEK-971 assault rifle"

"Gee, you must really know your firearms", I exclaimed.

Wade grins and looks back at the ground; his grin disappearing.

Felix went to the back to get a big bag and started loading it with the most good-looking guns on the shelves; typical.

"Which gun is your favorite?", Mark smiled lightly to me.

I looked at him for a moment and walked over to a small pistol; it had a black gradient, and silver edges. It was a very basic firearm compared to all the bad-ass guns Felix kept packing.

"Just a pistol?", Mark looked in confusion.

"I'm not the fancy type", I shrug.

Mark shrugs and walks over to help Felix.
A shine notices my eye as I turn around to walk over to a darker passway beside the shelves of guns. Inside was only but a single light showing off a very clean looking bow; arrows were placed to the side.

I slowly picked the bow and arrows and attached them to my back.
After that, each one of us receive body armor so robots can't stab us as easily.
The night grew even closer as everyone got caught into chatting and having a good time.

I walk past the kitchen and through the door way to lean on the fence; the only nice view was the houses surrounding the small backyard.

*"Jack!"*
*"Do you like it when I kill your friends?"*
*"Jack wanted to save your life, think of it that way"*
*"Tanisha, do something!"*
*"I cannot complete that action"*
*"Don't even think about it"*
*"Hello"*
*"What happened to Joey?"*
*"Hello"*
*"There you go, being creepy again"*

The flashbacks, the memories, going on and on inside my brain; every single word stinging even more.

"Are you okay?", Mark comforted me.

I jump back, not even realizing he was behind me. I relax and turn back to leaning on the fence. I lazily put my head of my hand.

"I'm fine", I mumbled.

"I know, you've probably been through a lot recently", Mark grabbed my hand.

I turned around and started blushing madly.

"But I promise, things will get better", he smiled. I noticed a red shine in his eye.
