It was everywhere. The posters, ads, commercials, everything. Never have I crossed an advertisement without it being about those stupid Google IRL things.
As I sat down, I could feel the sun burning in my eyes.
The cafe here was pretty nice, I suppose. But you know what? This would have been much funner if my friends eyes weren't glued to their phones. "Look, a new advertisement!" they would cheer. Who likes advertisements nowadays anyways?
"Come on, let's go something!" I grumbled. The three of my friends didn't even listen to a word I said!
"Whatever," I sighed and sat up. I glared bullets at them for a long minute. Still, no response. Sighing again, I collected my bag and pushed open the doors on my way out.
My name is Emma Rogue. I'm not the kindest teenager you'll meet out there, but most of the time, that's the case with all teenagers, right? Anyways, I like to keep my hair down. It's a light shade of brown. I would have preferred it darker. I have bangs as well. You know, those bangs that are super straight and perfect across your forehead? I have those. Oh, and I have brown eyes. I know, I sound like the funnest person you'll meet. To be serious though, not a lot of people like me. Maybe because people thought this story was going to be a, what's it called, X Reader? Yeah, that's why people hate me.I glanced over to the side and a shine was brought to my eye down an alleyway. I don't suppose checking it out with be a very good idea. Hell, it could be a bottle someone just left there. I decided to walk over and check it out. When I bent over close to it, I found a box wrapped with a glass case, so that must have been what shined in my eye.
Google IRL Premium
Amazan product-
'Blah blah━' my mind stopped abruptly."Google IRL!" I gasped in awe. These things cost a fortune! I had asked my mom in the past for one and it wasn't a surprise she said no.
I hugged the box against my chest and then run out the alleyway, excitedly dashing over to my bike.
"Yes yes yes!" I whispered as I hopped on my silver-blue bike, dropping the box into the basket that luckily, I kept at the front of my bike. I stopped. I looked over to the cafe. My friend's were still there━I'm sure they would be fine. Her phone should keep her well and busy for awhile. She isn't a big deal in the story anyways.I rode off from the balcony, down the streets of Cleveland. After awhile, I reached the front door of my garage. I hop off of the bike and I walk it over to the wall, where I can easily hook it up on the wall.
I stuffed the Google irl box under my fat shirt. "Already home? That escalated quickly," a voice, being my mom chuckled.
"Yeah, yeah, quickly. I'll be in my room," I said.
I dashed up the stairs, leaving my mother suspicious. In my bedroom, I pulled the box out and looked around the outside. It was surprisingly light, probably the size of a laptop. Why did I feel like I'm not the first whose said that about this product?"Where's the opening?" I snarled, desperately trying to open the container. God, it didn't have a button or a latch or anything! After I gave up, I tossed the useless box on the floor.
A figure suddenly appeared from the box.
I didn't know what to say, I remained speechless in front of this handsome figure.
He wore a blue shirt, with a printed G that seemed to glow. He had stubble all across his jaw with dark brown hair that slicked partially down. Surprisingly enough for a robot, he wore glasses over his eyes with a evil grin that was actually starting to creep me out."Ok, Google?" I questioned awkwardly, still in my shocked state. I nervously scan his body and his appearance.
"Hello," he spoke deeply.
His voice━it was so deep!"So, what stuff can you do?" I inquired, cocking my head. I narrow my eyes. Google's eyes were a bit small; asian-like, but maybe not.
"Primary objective is to answer all questions as quickly as possible," he stated deeply, "secondary objective is to destroy man kind."
"Destroy man kind?" I prepared to question. The both of us heard footsteps coming upstairs.
"Hurry, I need to hide you!" I pushed his chest, trying to get him to move. I'll have to stuff him under my bed, or maybe in my closet. I bet it's my mom coming upstairs. But Google is heavier than fifty bricks! I can't get him to budge!Google stepped to the side, making my almost fall, but I grabbed his arm before I could.
"Is everything alright?" My mother called from the other side of the door, "I heard a bang..."
"Everything's finnnne," I hissed, dragging Google into my closet and quickly closing my doors. My mom opened the door and smiled when she saw me.
"Alright, just checking on you," she said cheerily. She walked back downstairs, yet left the door open. I paced over and shut the door.
"Alright Google, you can come out," I sighed in relief. "Google?" I walked over to open back up the closet doors, but he wasn't there.
