The air smelled cozy here.

I had finally managed to open my eyes. I had a bandage wrapped around my arm. A medkit was laid on a unsturdy table to the left corner of me.
The walls look strong but old. The painted color of a solid white.

I set my feet down and stood up. Rubbing my eyes, my vision sets in. I look down to see that I'm not wearing the same jacket, but instead a grayish sweatshirt that fit me perfectly. Maybe even too perfect.
It looked as if it was tight on me, which it wasn't at all. In the inside was a even darker grey; same with the hoodie.
My bow was leaned against the wall; the same with my arrows.

I walked to the door and twisted the handle out. There was a small hallway that lead to a small modern living room that looked..normal.

Mark turns around to see me walking in and smiles.

"Where's Felix?", I asked. Mark was all comfy on a white couch and a cup of coffee in his other hand.

"He's in the bathroom"

"And..Google?"

Mark took another sip of coffee.
"Wade is out there looking for him", he said in between sips.

"...Oh..", I sighed.

The memory suddenly came back. The time when the shuttle was falling. That certain time when Google fell asleep.
Damn it, Google.

I plumped on the couch next to him and sighed once again.

"Hey Mark?"

"Yes?"

"I'm hungry", I mumbled. I just realized, I hadn't eaten for days. What the hell is wrong with me?

"Sorry but we can't stop by Mc.Donalds", Mark smiled.

"Aw, that's not funny!", I whined.
Seriously, what if someone told you that Mc.Donalds isn't serving ever again?!

"Hey, where are we anyways?", I looked around the small room.

"We're staying at Matthias's for awhile", Mark took a final sip and set his coffee mug onto the glass table.

I have no idea who Matthias is but I'm not in the mood for asking.
I don't really care right now.

The bathroom door opened with Felix's head poking out.
He walked behind the couch; behind me and smiled.

"Nice to see you again", he bent closer to me from behind the couch. I turned around and smiled weakly at him.
Honestly, I thought he died during the crash. It makes me feel sad just looking at him.

The same man with the leather jacket, brown hair, and bright blue eyes appeared from the front door.
"Hi there, I'm Matthias", he stuck his hand out for me to shake with a smile.

"Hello", I smiled awkwardly and proceeded to shake his hand.
His palm felt very cold.

Matthias let go and gave me a final look.
"I'll be right back, I'm going to go out and see if I can find anything", he opened the front door.

"What do you mean?", I asked before he left; standing up from the couch.

"Well,...ever since those robots raided this neighborhood, there tends to be scraps around that help me and my buddies for survival"

"Why isn't this house...destroyed?", I asked in curiosity, "Surely you would have been attacked"

Matthias nodded his head; his smile faded.
"I had to shut the lights off when it happened. It hid in my room the whole time. My wife..I sent her away so she could be safe..", Matthias looked at the ground sadly.

"This is an apartment", Mark added in the conversation.

"Oh...I'm sorry", I said to Matthias with grief.

Felix walked closer to us and wrapped his arm around me, "Emma and I will go out and find shit for ya", he smiled and said in his funny voice; trying to cheer everyone up.

"We will?", I looked up at him.

"Of course!", Felix swung his arm in his jolly way.

"If you guys say so. Be careful", Matthias smiled weakly and joined Mark on the couch. I had just noticed, Mark was now wearing a black leather jacket.
I have to say, he looks pretty bad-ass.

Felix still wore his jean jacket that had partially matched my old one awhile back.

I ran back to grab my bow and arrows and equipped my favorite pistol. Felix smiled as I caught up to him at the front door step.

Felix grabbed a plastic bag to hold all of the stuff we're supposed to find.

We walked down the dusty path that used to be a clean road. Unfortunately, it wasn't like that anymore.

"Oh!", Felix stopped in his search to something shiny in his line of sight.

He ran towards the light, down a misty parking lot and out of my sight. I sighed and picked up a can of beans left on the ground.
I drop the can into the plastic bag for later.

It's been a few minutes since Felix ran off to find something shiny. I decided to check on him and walk down the path he walked down. For safety precautions, I pulled my pistol out, ready to short one of those damn robots.

"Hey, I found something!", Felix ran towards me.
I think I noticed the same glint in his eye that I saw in Google's!

"Stop!"' I yelled as I aimed my gun towards him.

"Whoa! What are you doing?!", Felix backed away.

Without hesitation, I pulled the trigger.

The bullet went straight for his chest.
Felix looked at me sadly before he finally fell to his knees, then onto the rough ground.

That was really Felix!
What have I done...?
