Love Hurts they said but that statement to Abdul wasn't something he takes serious but then he realizes, Love doesn't only hurts, it breaks us, it shattered us, it crush every hope and expectations of happiness for us, he didn't answer munirah that evening because staring at her despite the circumstances he knows what brought them together,
It was love, it was the chemistry, the excitement, the emotions, the connections, the butterflies and whatever baggage love comes with, but then we sleep and wake up one day all that perished it's as if we have never experienced all those and we stare at this person who means the world to us and doubt if they have anything for us,
Do they love us?
Do they care?
A lot more questions that we still want to believe the answers are yes despite their actions says the opposite.
Self control is something abdul has so it wasn't that difficult for him to walk out of the situation entirely,
Munirah's words hurt him a lot and the fact that she opens her mouth telling him to divorce her hurts him more because to him it means she doesn't care and doesn't mind walking away from him,
When he says he love her he did and marrying her despite the circumstances of how things turn out for them he doesn't have intention of ever quitting,
He's been indoor the last couple of days since the incidence because he feel so detached from everything at the moment, today was supposed to be the day of their trip their flight will be in an hour time, he's not sure if he can go ahead with the trip but at same time he needs it so badly because he wants to be alone,
They took Kareem to his parents because taking the boy at this time especially after everything that has happened he just can't handle it because he wants some peace and alone time to mull about his life,
There was a knock on the door and after a while Aisha walks in.
"Good morning."she greets and he just stare at her,
She's been keeping her distance which is something he likes because he's not in the best mood these days.
"Ya shagari is here."she says and quietly leave the bedroom.
He releases a heavy breathe, knowing perhaps this has to do with Munirah he take his time before he comes out from the bedroom, they exchange pleasantries and Abdullahi sit waiting to hear what his best friend will voice.
"I was at consultant place I decide to stop by,
I have been calling Niinii sef since yesterday she isn't answering I thought you two are together that's why I just said to come check on you here."shagari says removing his phone from his pocket and dialing Munirah's contact again but she didn't answer.
"I will be traveling today."
"To where?
What of Niinii?"
"She's not going."Abdul reply flatly.
"Why?"
"Because she says she doesn't want to."

Why is it so easy for you to....
To discard Munirah's matter whenever she says things,
To be honest with you I think you have failed her as a husband and me to as a friend........

Why do you always have something to say if it has to do with munirah,
She's not my only wife okay and it's difficult to please her especially when she kept acting like I don't know a better word to say than stupid,
She kept getting petty each day."
