Something was off with Zane. He knew something we didn't and it seemed like he was trying to get information on us. I was worried about the fact he was literally on his deathbed not too long ago but still. He was acting really suspicious. He also smiled too much, like he was trying to please us by seeming normal. Thankfully I brought some books about the Maya Gods onto the ship. I figured since I can't entirely trust him I shouldn't be entirely reliant on him for information and the Maya. Hurakan was the Mayan god of Storms,Winds and Fire and he was also THE Creator god. Kukumatz was the second creator god but he was the most powerful one out of the two. Also my research showed that Hurakan did most of the work creating the world and humans. They were entirely different from us so he might not want to help us. I needed a backup plan... maybe I could trade something of value to get his help if needed. For example my yankees hat? No he can most likely go invisible using magic. I could tell him secrets about the Greek gods? Unfortunately that will have to do. I was in my room writing plans when there was a knock on my door.

"Come in." Reyna entered the room, she was wearing her old praetor's clothes now. Frank and Hazel declared her honorary praetor somehow, which means she still has the same power as a praetor. I know it doesn't make sense but hey, times are changing along with the rules for many things.

"I assume you also suspect Zane is hiding something?" Reyna sat down on the edge of my bed.

"Of course, that's why I brought the books with me for back up." I replied.

"Good idea. May I see your plans and the books?" Reyna asked now standing next to me. I nodded my head and she started examining the plans thoroughly.

"These plans are very thorough and exact, you are sure you don't want to join the Roman Military?" Reyna asked jokingly.

"I'm sure Reyna, do you like the plans?" I asked

"Yes they are good, however is that the only way you believe we will get his help?"

"No, it's just a back up plan."

"Your research about the Mayan gods is excellent though. We will most likely know more about them than Zane can since he's a mortal." Reyna responded confidently.

"Of course, I should get some rest now, good night Reyna!" I responded while yawning.

"Good night Annabeth, sleep well." With that i flopped on my bed and immediately passed out.
