Harmony Briseis Osabutey
Three Days Later | 01/22/21Harmony sat at her dining room table, eating the freshly cut pineapples in front of her. Engrossed in the FaceTime call with Desmond, she laughed before eating a pineapple.
"Are you joking right now? You really just tried to butter me up to some freestyled words?" Harmony laughed, playfully rolling her eyes.
"Bae, you know you fine." Desmond repeated, smiling at the camera when she stabbed another pineapple with the fork, twirling it as she smiled.
"I do." She winked as she ate the pineapple from the fork, standing up from the table. She tossed the fork in the sink and placed the container of pineapples in the refrigerator.
Grabbing her phone from the table, "Are you coming to the Playhouse tonight?" She asked, entering her bedroom and collapsing on her comfortable King sized bed.
"Not tonight, MaMa. I'm stuck in the studio all night. When you gone lemme see you, doe'? Take you on a date or something." He smiled, hinting at plans he wanted to make with her.
"I don't know. I mean, you could see me tonight if you'd pull up, but I completely understand that you have to work." She nodded, replying to a text message from Aseem before she heard her doorbell ring.
"Lemme guess, you gotta go?" Desmond rhetorically questioned with a low chuckle, aware that Harmony would have to hang up when her friend and cousin showed up.
"Yes. I have to get ready for work and I hope you understand. I'll talk to you whenever I'm situated, okay?" Harmony stood up from the bed, having every intention on resuming the call with him whenever she had time.
"Okay. Be careful out thea', MaMa." He smiled at the camera, ending the call when she returned the smile.
As Harmony turned the doorknob, she smiled when Kris and Remedy were revealed on the opposite side of the door, each having bright smiles on their faces. Remedy held a bottle of Casamigos while Kris held a blunt in the air, then they walked inside.
"About time y'all are on time." Harmony chuckled, following them to her bedroom after closing and locking the front door.
"You know we had to make it here to pregame right quick. My bitch headlining tonight." Remedy smiled as she opened the bottle, then she walked over to Harmony, pouring a shot in her mouth.
"I would've thought she was headlining Tuesday the way she worked that pole." Kris chimed in, lighting the blunt, and she pulled from it.
"Relax. It wasn't nothing I don't normally do. I always give the people a good show." Harmony smiled, glancing at Remedy while she took a shot after Kris passed Harmony the blunt.
"You do, but Tuesday was a different energy. Whatever it was, keep it." Remedy suggested, pouring another shot in her mouth.
"Okay." Harmony sighed, repeating the motion of pulling from the blunt, inhaling the smoke and exhaling it before she passed it to Remedy.
Within the past hour, Harmony applied her eyeliner with a steady hand. Remedy, always the more spontaneous one, slipped into a pair of glittering heels and tied a trench coat around her box. Kris, with a practiced motion, pulled on a black dress that clung to her curves as she clasped earrings that sparkled like stars.
TWENTY MINUTES LATER, the girls arrived at the club, stepping through the entrance of the club, only to find OTF already commanding the space despite the club's doors not opening until thirty more minutes.
"What are they doing here? Why are they always here?" Harmony whispered, her annoyance evident as she rolled her eyes.
"Don't let these niggas bother you." Remedy sighed, waving off the presence of Herbo when he tried talking to her.
