Harmony Briseis Osabutey One Week Later | 04/07/21
"So you don't think that this is cute?" Harmony asked Remedy for her opinion on the floss that she held in hand, bringing it to her body for a better observation.
"It's cute, but it ain't yo style. That's some shit Kris will wear." Remedy spoke her honest opinion, her eyes narrowing when Harmony paused everything to reply to the seventh text message she'd received within the span of ten minutes.
"You sure you wanna shop? That phone got all yo attention." Remedy said, grabbing a yellow floss off the racket in a size large.
"I'm sorry. I'm focused now." Harmony apologized as she locked the phone, putting it in her purse. "I'm just responding to Jaquan's messages."
"Yeah... Jaquan." A shady chuckle escaping her lips as she shook her head, which caused Harmony to jerk her head back.
Noticing the shady glare that Remedy gave her, a mischievous grin broke across Harmony's face before she laughed as she reached for another piece of floss dangling from the racket.
"Oh, girl. If I would've know everybody would start acting weird, I wouldn't have told y'all about letting Von fuck." She sighed with a shake of the head, shifting her weight to one leg and rest a hand on her hip.
"I'm only actin' weird because I wanna know what the fuck goin' on. I don't know what's wrong wit' Kris though." Remedy shrugged as she grabbed two flosses that grabbed her attention.
"So you haven't talked to her? I hope she's okay, she won't open up to me anymore. Did I do something wrong?" Harmony subconsciously questioned, worry laced in her tone of voice.
"You ain't do shit wrong. Ion know why she actin' distant." Remedy replied, leading the way to the checkout register.
After Harmony and Remedy purchased the multiple items, they walked to Starbucks in the outlet mall- Harmony ordering an Iced Mango Dragonfruit Refresher; Remedy ordering a Strawberry Açaí Refresher.
"I just wish she'd communicate. Maybe she's going through something and she's shutting down. Either way, I'm worried." Harmony continued her venting, heavily sighing as the worried regarding Kris swirled in her mind.
"She'll come around. Just give ha space like I am." Remedy suggested, and they entered her car before driving out of the parking lot.
"But let's talk about this Von situation. How you gone fuck the boss and not even try to be discreet wit' it after all the shaming you did?" Remedy shook her head, a subtle chuckle sounding from her lips.
"Clock my tea then. Apparently I have been humbled. But there's nothing to talk about to be honest. Whenever I call, he comes and vise versa. He's just a fuck thing." Harmony honestly stated, shrugging her shoulders when Remedy laughed.
