Harmony lay still, her gaze fixed on the ceiling above, reflecting on her chaotic thoughts. A low sigh of unspoken worries escaped her lips as her hand drifted down to her stomach, her fingers tracing gentle circles against it.

She still registered the newfound information that she was pregnant, and she contemplated on if she wanted to go through with her initial decision.

The clock ticked insistently; today was the pivotal day, and she had only two hours to determine her path forward. Thoughts of Torah crept in- she still hadn't told him about the pregnancy she had been dealing with alone, choosing silence over confrontation. Ignoring incoming calls from his now blocked number was easier than facing the truth, and instead of the comfort of his presence, she had sought refuge with Remedy at her house.

"Hey, it's time to start gettin' ready." Remedy opened the door to the guest bedroom, and Harmony nodded her head.

When the bedroom door clicked shut, Harmony let out a weary sigh as she propped herself up on her elbows, taking a moment to gather her thoughts before swinging her legs over the edge of the bed. She walked over to the dresser, selecting an oversized sweatshirt and a pair of leggings to wear, slipping into them.

She grabbed her phone and purse, stepping out of the bedroom with a natural frown plastered on her face. "I'm ready. Let's go, Remedy."

The car ride to the clinic was quiet, only the sound of the faint music playing being heard. Within thirty minutes, they pulled into the parking lot. Remedy parked the car and turned off the engine before she looked over at Harmony, who gazed out of the window.

"Are you sure you wanna do this? We can always turn back and go back to my house." Remedy focused her undivided attention on Harmony.

"I'm sure. I'm a believer that not everyone should be a mother for whatever reason. I'm in that category and I don't want children." Harmony explained, her head slowly nodding before her eyes shifted to Remedy.

"Okay, that's valid, but you not even gone tell Von about it?" Remedy curiously questioned, her eyebrows knitting together.

"No. I haven't even seen or talked to him since I found out about him and Kris." Harmony sighed as she folded her arms across her chest, staring at the protestors outside of the clinic.

"Look, ion fuck wit' that nigga after what he did, but he deserve to know about his child. He should have a say on the future." Remedy reasoned, attempting to talk sense into her.

"And why is that?"

"What? Harmony, don't piss me off. You at a clinic about to kill his seed. That's a permanent and crucial thing, so he definitely should know despite how you feel." Remedy protested with a more stern tone, a tone that always seemed to get through Harmony's hard head and stubbornness.
