Today, we had to start scouting for agencies. I first approached Hawks, hoping he’d be available, but it turns out he isn’t taking interns this time. With that option out, I decided to aim for Nighteye's agency instead. He has a certain precision and intensity that reminds me of Nanami—someone serious, focused, and disciplined. I figured working with him might be a good match for me; his quirk, Foresight, would give me a chance to learn strategy from a true master.

As I arrived at Nighteye’s agency, I was greeted by a peppy, blue-haired girl in an equally bright costume. Bubble Girl, I recognized. Her quirk let her create bubbles with different effects, which sounded pretty fun—and powerful.

"Hi! You must be Akira Gojo," she greeted me, her tone bubbly, just like her quirk.

“That’s me,” I replied with a grin, adjusting my blindfold. “So, Bubble Girl, do you always get to meet the newcomers, or am I just lucky?”

She laughed. “We try to make everyone feel welcome here—well, before Nighteye puts them to the test.”

I chuckled, but inside, I felt a surge of excitement. I’d heard Nighteye could be intense. That was fine by me.

After some small talk with Bubble Gum, she led me down the hallway to Nighteye’s office. It was clear she respected him deeply, and judging by the serious tone she adopted as we neared his door, I knew this was going to be more than a casual meeting.

Inside, Nighteye stood by his desk, gaze sharp as he looked me over. I couldn’t help but feel a bit of excitement under that steely stare—if he was anything like I’d heard, this was exactly the type of hero I wanted to work under.

“Akira Gojo, is it?” he asked, his voice calm but commanding.

“Yes, sir. And before we start, I should probably clear something up.” I pulled my blindfold up just slightly so he could see my eyes. “My quirk isn’t actually Flotation and Barrier… It’s Limitless, Six Eyes, and Domain Expansion.”

His eyes narrowed just slightly, but he didn’t look surprised, merely intrigued. “Limitless and Six Eyes… interesting combination,” he said, his voice a mix of curiosity and calculation. “Explain.”

“Limitless allows me to control the space around me—creating an infinity barrier no one can get through unless I allow it. Six Eyes, on the other hand, is a heightened perception quirk that lets me read everything around me with incredible clarity.” I paused, gauging his reaction, but he remained unreadable. “And then… there’s Domain Expansion. It’s a specialized, controlled field where I can manipulate the rules, so to speak. But… it’s a little overkill, so I don’t use it much.”

There was a pause, then Nighteye nodded slowly. “You’re aware of the risks of such power, I assume.”

I returned his gaze confidently. “Yes, sir. Which is why I don’t intend to flaunt it.”

"Impressive. But to pass you have to make me laugh." Sir Nighteye said seriously.

I cleared my throat, ready to take on the challenge. Humor wasn’t exactly my forte, but if Nighteye wanted a laugh, I’d give him one. Even if I had to force it.

“So, what do you get when you cross a hero with a villain?” I asked, flashing a grin.

Nighteye didn’t even blink. Not a flicker of amusement.

“A super villain?” I offered, leaning in with exaggerated enthusiasm.

Nothing. The silence was almost suffocating. Fine. I wasn’t backing down.

“Okay, okay. Why did the hero refuse to fight the villain who could turn invisible?”

I paused dramatically, giving Nighteye a confident look. “Because he couldn’t see the point!”
