As Gojo and Midoriya return to school, they make their way to the teacher's office. They knock on the door and open it, only to see that All Might is not inside.

"Sorry to bother you, do you know where All Might is?" Midoriya asks, glancing at Midnight, who looks up at them.

"He went out on a run earlier. You might be able to catch him if you're quick," Midnight says with a smile.

"Thank you," Midoriya says as they both bow and head out, shutting the door behind them.

"Why am I tagging along?" Gojo asks, jogging alongside Midoriya.

"You're just as involved as I am in this. You should know everything that's going on. After all, you know All Might is hiding something, right?" Midoriya responds, not slowing down.

"True enough. And I’m curious," Gojo replies with a smirk.

"All Might!" Gojo calls as she picks up her pace.

All Might turns around as the two students charge toward him at full speed.

"Whoa! Young Midoriya and Young Gojo," All Might exclaims as they skid to a stop just before bumping into him. "How did you even know where I was?"

Midoriya straightens up, looking serious. "You knew what I was about to walk into. Nighteye knows exactly how One For All works, and that you planned to pass it to Mirio, not me." Midoriya’s voice cracks with emotion. "You knew everything, so why didn’t you tell me?"

"Oh boy, here comes the drama," Gojo mutters with a grin.

"I didn’t think it was my place to tell you," All Might says, glancing at his successor’s tearful face.

"Of course it was!" Midoriya shouts, his voice filled with frustration and hurt. "To find this out all at once, to be rejected by Nighteye, before I even had a chance to understand it… And the worst part is that you kept it a secret. I needed to know everything—not as a fan, but as your successor."

All Might sighs, looking down. "I didn’t think knowing all this would help you grow. Do you really want to know everything?"

"Everything is better than nothing at all," Midoriya says, wiping his tears.

"You may regret this," All Might warns, sitting down on a nearby bench.

"I won’t—and neither will Gojo," Midoriya replies, sitting beside him.

All Might takes a deep breath. "Sir Nighteye was a huge fan of mine. It was my policy not to take on sidekicks, but eventually, I gave in and made him my number two. We worked together for around five years—he was the brain behind my operations. But six years ago, after my injury, we had a falling-out. He foresaw a villain who would eventually defeat me, and he couldn’t accept that future. We parted ways because our values clashed. Principal Nezu recommended Young Togata to me, and I was set to make him my successor… until I met you, Midoriya. I’m sorry, I just didn’t want to tell you. Because you were my fan."

Midoriya feels his heart sink. All Might’s going to die?

"Tell me more about Nighteye’s vision. How far into the future was it?" Midoriya asks quietly.

"Six or seven years. The further he looks, the hazier his foresight becomes, but he’s never been wrong," All Might says, looking down.

"That’s this year or the next. All Might, you can’t die!" Midoriya’s voice shakes. "I want you to live. Remember what you told me at the Sports Festival? You said you wanted me to introduce myself to the world saying, ‘I am here.’ I can’t do that yet… so you have to live, until I can. I need you here."
