Lucy's apartment doesn't exist, she owns a house
Tim is a sergeant
Tim is divorced and not dating anyone
Jackson and Nolan were the only rookies that came in season 1
Oh and jackson isn't dead

It has been 3 years since Lucy became an FBI agent. She is one of the best agents. She solved 18 cases in her 3 years of work since she was a probie. Tim on the other hand tried dating after his divorce but he still didn't find anyone who was right for him so he gave up and started riding solo.

Lucy woke up early and went for a run. She ran around the beach and through some alleys and straight back to her house. When she got back she was greeted by her dog kojo.

Lucy: who is a good boy!
Kojo: woof!
Lucy: does this good buy want breakfast?
Kojo: woof!
Lucy: okay boy, come with me

Lucy went into her kitchen and made kojo eggs and bacon for breakfast and served him. Afterwards she went into her bathroom and took a long hot shower and started getting ready.
She blow dried her hair and went into her closet to to look for what to wear.
She finally decided on a black jacket, black pants and a white shirt. She complimented it with some silver jewelry and black boots. She took her bag and keys, kissed kojo goodbye and headed out.

When she got to work, she signed in and headed to her desk. As soon as she sat down she saw her work bestie who is in love with her walking towards her. She knows he likes her but she doesn't like him that way. He always flirts with her and asks her out but she always declines. His determination is admired by his friends and colleagues but ridiculed by others.

His name is Robbie Wilson but everyone calls him rob. He is a 35 year old handsome guy who has been on the force for 5 years. he almost proposed to his ex girlfriend but she cheated on him with someone and now he is single. There is another agent that likes him but his eyes are set on Lucy.

Rob: good morning lovely lady
Lucy: good morning rob, how was your night
Rob: it was lonely without you
Lucy: it's too early rob
Rob: okay okay I'm sorry
Lucy: good, hey did you get my text?
Rob? Yes I did, the files are on my desk if you want to check it out
Lucy: of course I want to check it out that's why I asked for them
Rob: wanna hold hands and go to my desk together
Lucy: rob istg!
Rob: sorry, I'll go get it

As soon as rob left, Lucy's boss, Grace lane, walked over and said hi to Lucy.

Grace: good morning agent Chen, looking sharp
Lucy: good morning boss, and thank you
Grace: I heard you put in a request to look into a case?
Lucy: yeah I did and rob is bringing the folder over as we speak
Grace: alright well have a great shift
Lucy: thanks Boss

Rob walked over
Rob: boss is in a good mood today
Lucy: even if she isn't she is always nice to me
Rob: probably because you are amazing and we all love you, mostly me
Lucy: rob it's never gonna happen
Rob: well, worth the shot! I'll see you at lunch
Lucy: wait hold on, where are you going?
Rob: I'm working on a case with the lower division
Lucy: aww helping your juniors
Rob: ergh more like helping annoying probies, no offense to you
Lucy: I'm not a probie bro
Rob: that's right agent Chen, bye girl
Lucy: bye

After rob left Lucy opened the file and started going though it. She got the file for research purposes. The case has already been solved for over 7 years now. The case was about a missing teenager who was found under the bridge overdosed but actually she was stabbed 4 times in her chest and  4 times in her abdomen. It was a pattern of the now dead "8 spots killer", who kills people by stabbing them 8 times, 4 times in two places only.

This was his last killing and was found dead in his house after killing himself. He left a note saying "my work is done, I have killed 8 people and I have evidence all over the house, look around and you might find one person also". It was written with blood as an ink. The FBI agents on the case actually found someone dead in his room. Forensics found that he was killed for about 2 days and this sick man left him there to rot. 

As Lucy was reading the paperwork she started getting chills. She paused to go get water from the break room.

When she went in, there was no one inside. She went straight to the fridge and got herself cold water and sat down and started drinking it. She kept the bottle and started checking her phone when her work enemy, Natalia grey walked in. She is the other agent mentioned earlier that likes agent rob. She hates Lucy mostly because rob likes Lucy and never pays attention to her. She actually lowkey likes lucy for her great work but when it comes to rob, she wants to end lucy. Natalia has been trying for years to get rob to like her but he was never interested even before Lucy joined the agency.

Natalia: hey you!
Lucy: hi
Natalia: do I smell disrespect?
Lucy: no ma'am
Natalia: ma'am?? I'm almost the same age as you dork
Lucy: I'm 29 and you are 34 do the math ma'am
Natalia: whatever! I need your help
Lucy: what do you want?
Natalia: since you are close with rob, I want you to...
Lucy: (cuts in) no
Natalia: no?
Lucy: I don't want to get in between
Natalia: oh! So I was right
Lucy: about what?
Natalia: you like rob
Lucy: oh please! I'd rather fall of a tall building, no offense
Natalia: what does he see in you
Lucy: human decency
Natalia: wow! We will see about that

Natalia stormed out of the break room and lucy immediately texted rob saying, "if anything happens it's Natalia", and left the room.

She went to her desk and took the file from earlier and went to a training agent, whom she kinda likes but wouldn't go after him even at gun point.

His name is James Leonard. He is 38, never married but has a kid from his ex girlfriend.

She went to his office because she saw his name under the people that solved the case so she went to ask him some questions. She knocked on the door and he signaled for her to enter so she did.

Lucy: good morning
James: good morning agent Chen, how may I help you
Lucy: I have a case file with your name in it and I was hoping to pick your brain a bit
James: okay, come sit
Lucy: thank you, I hope I'm not interrupting
James: no actually it's fine
Lucy: okay, it's this case (hands him over the folder)
James: ohh, this specific one
Lucy: yeah, is there a problem?
James: I was still a probie when we solved this
Lucy: that must have been a horrible experience for you
James: yeah it was, but I went to therapy and I'm okay now, I think
Lucy: (chuckles)
James: so what did you want to ask me about it?
Lucy: it's about how you caught him
James: we found him dead, it's all in the report
Lucy: yeah I know, I need your own perspective
James: also in the report
Lucy: oh, I...
James: Lucy is there a reason you came here?
Lucy: why would there be?
James: maybe you just wanted to talk to me
Lucy: no James
James: oh, first name basis, how far have we come
Lucy: I'm sorry, I should go (gets up and starts to leave)
James: hey are you free tonight?
Lucy: em...sorry?
James: are you free tonight?
Lucy: do you want me to baby sit for you again?
James: no, no, sam is with his mom tonight
Lucy: then...
James: I wanted to know if you wanted to grab dinner
Lucy: oh, like a work thing?
James: no like a date thing

Immediately after he said that, Lucy disappeared into her own world. Did the guy she likes just ask her out or is she just hearing things so she asked him again.

Lucy: are you asking me out?
James: yes agent chen
Lucy: oh wow em
James: hey if you don't want to it's fine
Lucy: no, sounds fun
James: I'll pick you up at 8
Lucy: can't wait

Lucy went back to her desk and she couldn't stop smiling. Natalia saw her from afar and grinned.
It was lunch time and lucy went to her favorite spot to eat. It's a cozy place that she goes to sometimes with rob and its owned by a friend of hers. She went in and ordered her usual. A chai latte with a chicken burger. She went and sat down as she was waiting for her food. After a while her food was brought to her table and she started eating. As she was eating she saw rob come in, wave at her and went to order his food then came and sat down with her.
Rob: hey sunshine
Lucy: hey rob, how was the case with the probies?
Rob: honestly not bad, how is your shift going on so far?
Lucy: (smiles) just a boring day for lucy
Rob: (confused) why did you smile like that?
Lucy: its nothing
Rob: no its not, come on spill!

Lucy didn't want to tell rob about her date with james because it might crush him, but he will find out anyways.
Rob: earth to lucy! Im waiting
Lucy: its really not a big deal
Rob: okay then why are you blushing, just tell me
Lucy: its james
Rob: what about him
Lucy: he asked me out
Rob: oh
Lucy: oh?
Rob: im sorry, what?
Lucy: are you okay?
Rob: did you say yes?
Lucy: yeah
Rob: oh wow, what did he have to do that I didn't do all these years (laughs)
Lucy: its not..
Rob: I think ill get my food to go
Lucy: wait rob, cmon don't be like that
Rob: I gotta go, see you at the end of shift
Lucy: (stands up) Robbie!

Rob didn't answer her and told the waitress to pack his food for him to go. He left in a swiff shortly after. Lucy sat back down and stared at her food. She felt so bad that rob was upset. She started feeling like she shouldn't have said yes to james. She lost her appetite, paid for her food and went back to work.
