It’s Always Sunny in Oklahoma

 “Abraham didn’t choose to kill him… I forced him to kill your father.” My mom was talking but I couldn’t respond. I couldn’t get of the fact that she was the one who killed dad, basically. “How did you force him?” I asked trembling. She laughed and I looked away from her, disgusted that I had a monster as a mother… but I’m a monster too… “Why did you force him, mother?” I ask. “So, that your father was out of the picture. He refused for you to marry Abraham.” She replies.

 “You killed him for that reason?” I growl, looking back at her. “What gives you any right for you to do that?!?! Do you know how hard it was for me to forget that? No… I didn’t forget that moment, I remember it so I won’t ever forget dad!” I was breathing hard and I felt my teeth stretch. What the hell? “Charlotte… As you teenagers would say, ‘chill’,” My mom began walking towards me. I backed away. “You are hyper ventilating...” I looked at her. I was totally not hyper ventilating. “I’m not. I’m just pissed, mother.” I growl. She rolled her eyes and I growl even louder. “Mother, are you going to keep aggravating me?” I question. She laughs. “You are hilarious. Now let’s hurry up and get to your wedding. I’m so excited for you!” she squeals. I look away from her. “Curt Carter and Clare Knighte, I call you out so that you may protect me within my sight.” I whisper, but it sounded more like I enchanted the words out. “Charlotte? What are you doing?” my mom asks when air and smoke is produced in the room. “Calling my wolves,” I reply. Her eyes get huge when she sees two figures slightly step in front of me out of the smoke. “My lady, we respond to you. To protect and care for you when you call and need so.” They say simultaneously.

 “Alexander!” My mom screams. Instantly Sage stands in front of my mom protectively. “I’m leaving mother, whether you like it or not.” I say. “I honestly don’t care about this wedding ok? So I’ll be taking my leave.” I step in the middle of Curt and Clare when mom yells “Guards!” Almost instantly, Curt grabs my waist and growls like crazy. I look to my left and Clare is fidgeting weirdly, side to side. My mom screams again, calling for more of her guards. Almost five guards walk into the room and I hear a snarl. I look to my left again, to where Clare was and see a beautiful wolf. Her coat was a silver-blue and she had a neon Red Crescent moon on her forehead. Three of the five men lung themselves at Clare and she yelps. “CLARE!”I felt the pain that hit her chest in mine. “We need to leave Charlotte. Clare can take care of this.” Curt says.

 “No! We can’t leave her!” I yell.

 “We have to, my lady.” He replies.

 I couldn’t keep up my argument. Clare kept distracting me with her barking and growling. “Clare! I will come back for you! You know that right?” I ask. “You’re my wolf and my wolf only!” ‘Yes, my lady. I will be alright. Just go on wi-,” her sentence was disrupted when a Vampire guard swung at her. Pain seared through my upper right face as she did too. ‘Go!’ she barked at me. Quickly and swiftly, Curt carries me bridal style and starts sprinting towards the door. “Edaniel, get her now!” my mom yells. Suddenly, a guy I assumed was Edaniel steps in front of me and Curt. He had dark almost black brown hair and a build like a football player or army soldier (maybe less…I don’t know). He grabs my waist with one arm and with the other; he pushes Curt with massive force. “Curt!” I yell. “Let go of me.” I hiss at him.

 “I cannot. Your mother-,”

 “I know what my mother said. Just let go of me,” I yell. “Now!”

 He instantly drops me and I fall on my butt. I growl at him as I stand up and run to Curt to pick him up. “My lady, I’m afraid we are surrounded.” Curt whispers to me. “No, we aren’t. We can leave.” I reasoned. He shook his head no slightly. “I don’t think we can.”
