Zack and Kelly sat at their kitchen table eating breakfast. A small television was sitting on the counter blaring the news channel. Stu had already snuck out back to his house earlier that morning.
"I don't think you two should go to school today" Mr. Wilson said entering the kitchen.
"I'd rather be around a lot of people" Kelly said
"Yeah besides, I got a date" Zack mischievously smiled
All three of them turned to face the tv when they heard Kelly's name being mentioned.
"Kelly Wilson, alongside Sidney Prescott, escaped a vicious attack last night. Sidney, of course, is the daughter of Maureen Prescott, who was brutally killed last year when convicted murderer, Cotton Weary..."
"Ugh poor, Sidney" Kelly rubbed the temples of her head in frustration
"I always thought I'd be the famous twin" Zack joked
Kelly glared at her brother. Then the phone rang, both twins stared at each other. Kelly hesitantly walked over and answered it.
"Kelly?" An anxious voice said on the other end
"Sidney? You okay?" Kelly asked
"Yeah, I'm alright. So uh Billy was released...his cellular bill was clean."
"What? He didn't make those calls?" Kelly's mouth dropped opened, a new sense of fear filled her head.
The killer was still out there...
"He didn't make the calls" Sidney repeated, she was just as worried as Kelly was.
"Any news on your dad? Have they found him yet?" Kelly asked
"Nope not yet"
"I'm sure he'll turn up soon, I'll see you at school today okay?" Kelly felt worse for Sidney, she was all alone.
"Yeah, I'll see ya" Sidney hung up.
"So the killer's still out there, huh?" Zack looked up at his sister
"Yep" Kelly nodded. —————————————————————————— The school was even more flooded with reporters than before. They were bombarding students trying to make their way into the building. Shoving microphones, cameras, and questions into their faces.
"Oh that's Dewey's car, I'll catch up with you later" Kelly waved Zack goodbye.
Dewey's patrol jeep cruised by, reporters began to follow behind. When he pulled up to the front of the school Kelly went up to the passenger seat window.
Tatum hopped out and greeted Kelly. Sidney lingered behind, she suddenly felt unsure.
"Hey, it's school. You'll be safe here" Dewey reassured
