BUSANI.

She fell to the floor like a rag doll. There was so much blood in the kitchen you’d swear that she was dead. She couldn’t move or do anything but just moan in pain. Maya was beaten many times in this kitchen and I bet she was slammed against the cupboards boards that were in here. My hands and shirt were bloody and I still felt like it wasn’t enough. I am not satisfied with what I did. I don’t want her to die but suffer. I want all of them to watch Maya as she prospers in her life and become everything they never thought she would be.

Ace is finally freed from the shackles that Kabelo was holding him. He falls down then drags his body to his daughter. He starts to cry, it’s pathetic and it is pissing me off. I walk to their stove and light it because I need to put my stamp on someone.

“You will pay for this, someone is going to come and they will know what happened. People saw you walking in so if we die, they are going to know it was you.” Ace said with his shaky voice. “Emily, wake up my child, please.”
“Zion, take her mother’s car and leave with her, make sure she doesn’t die.”
“She won’t, she’s just in pain but she will be fine. Should I take her now?”
“No, I need to give her a parting gift. Something that she will remember me by when she misses her old life.”

I look for a fork then I put it on the hot stove and wait for it to get warm and be red. I watched Ace and he was watching me. I grinned at him and I could see how furious he was. That made me laugh because I couldn’t understand why he was mad. He moves his hands to his back looking for his gun but he didn’t realize that it was taken while he was crying for his daughter.

Ace started talking about how he knows people who know people that make other people disappear from the face of the earth but I couldn’t understand why he never made Maya disappear since he hated her. It might be true that Ace was maybe waiting for the right to attack Maya so maybe he was waiting for the right moment.

“You're making things harder for yourself Ace. If I were you, I would keep quiet because I have no idea what is waiting for me wherever you are going.”
"I am not going anywhere with you. You will have to drag Me Out of Here kicking and then screaming because I am not going to leave my daughter and let you take me wherever you want to take me so you can kill me. If you want to kill me you better do it right here."

This old man thought that maybe we were playing, that maybe he still had a choice in all of this and demanded things. "I don't know who told you that you can tell us what to do or not to do. You don't have a choice here, what happened to your daughter is the same thing that is going to happen to you but much worse."

He started laughing like what I was telling him was a joke and he was seriously pissing me off. I checked at the stove and so that the fork was ready to be used. I took their dish cloth, picked up the fork, then went to Ace. A grabbed him by his neck then I stabbed him with it in his eye. His screamed like a little b**** that he was and I laughed. He fell down with the fork still stuck in his eye and we just washed him. His daughter cried when she heard her father screaming.

He tried to pull it out but he couldn't because it was hot and it was burning his flesh and it smelled like something rotten. I knew what I was doing. I knew that he wasn't going to die. I just needed him to realize what was in store for him because the pain he thought he was feeling was bad while he didn't know that it was still going to be worse. I meant it when I said they were all going to pay and they will, everyone of them.  I put my leg on his chest then pulled out the fork and it came out with his eye stuck in it. Blood splashed on my pants and I didn't care.

"Since they have passed out you might as well take them both. Just make sure that they don't wake up." Zion nodded.
"Where are we going to when we leave her, to take the other sister?"
"You, my brother, are going home with Zion."
He looked at me like I was about to annoy him."I am not going home. Luh knows that I have to be here with you and make sure that we finish this thing, all of us together."
"Bro, you need to go home, you need to be with your family. The last few days you have been with me every step of the way and all through the night. I need you to go home and be with your family because I'm.sure the children miss you. As soon as I come back to Durban we will deal with all of these people and make sure that they never cause harm to Maya or anyone else."
