They said goodbye to her and watched as she got in her new car and left. Mbali was so happy for her friend especially when she thought about the first time she came here. She couldn’t believe that this was the very same girl who barely said five words when they first met. They couldn't do what Busani did for their friend and Mbali started to believe that when a man loves you, he would move mountains for you because that is what Busani did in the short amount they met. She couldn't wait to see what else he is going to do for her.

She looked at her cousins and saw that her mind was far away. She didn't like the energy she was feeling around her favorite cousin, her sister since their mothers are sisters. Deli sat down and sighed. 

“Green is definitely not your color because that is how you look right now.” 

“Do you ever think about what if you didn't get sick that day and maybe just maybe you're the one who met Busani?” 

“Hhayi Delisiwe Mlambo! Why would you even think that? Maya is your best friend and this is what we wanted for her. To meet someone who will love her and Busani loves our girl” Mbali was speechless because she now realized that Deli could want what Maya has. 

“But why did it have to be her and not us? How long have we been here and we couldn't even meet someone who's at least close to Busani league? Instead we just meet normal ordinary guys?” The was hurt in her voice as she voiced out her thoughts to her sister.

“I thought you were happy with your man Deli, what changed?” Mbali looked at her sister  

“Did you see those men, Busani’s brothers and don't start with the Ntanzi brothers. Hlanga, his friends? And let's not forget the king, his protection details? My God sis. We need to start moving.”

“Those men are out of our league sis and if I was you I was going to forget about whatever silly idea you have in your before it costs us our relationship with Maya because I promise you Deli if Busani suspects or even smells that you are feeling some type of way towards his woman? He will make sure that Maya cuts us off in her life and I am not going to let you ruin that. 

Maya is a good person and we're lucky she still wants us in her life because she could have turned her back on us the day she left with Busanu but she didn't. She even wants us to work for her and help her run her business. Tell me where have you ever heard of such?” Mbali was getting frustrated with her sister. 

“All I am saying is I feel like I am wasting my time with this man and I need to start moving differently. Dress in a certain way and start going to those kinds of places they like to hang out at. Did you know that they have their own country that they built?” 

“Del, please. Don't start causing problems for Maya by wanting her to always invite you whenever they have functions so you can lust after married men. You saw those men don't play about their wives and the wives too. They welcomed us because of Maya so please. I don't want trouble.” 

Deli stood up and shook her head. “My problem with you is that you don't see the bigger picture. Those men are our ticket to get out of here. I'm sure one of them was paying attention to us…” 

“Yoh Deli please!....”

“No. What's wrong with wanting to have what Maya has? I also want a wealthy man who will take care of me so I won't worry about rent, that crappy job and living off for a bare minimum. I want to be a rich housewife too and sip on champagne. All I need is just one single man from that group to notice me then I'm in.” 

“Those men know women like you. They are going to smell your bullshit from far away and you are going to be very disappointed. I'm sure many women have tried to do what you want to do and they failed. Don't embarrass yourself like that please. Just focus on your relationship with your man and just be happy.”
