Bonga was scared that he almost beat his ex-wife to death and he wasn't sorry at all. He looked at her and she was laying on the floor unconscious. He looked at his clothes and they were bloody. He couldn't walk out of here and leave Sims alone because her neighbour saw him driving in and if he leaves now and no one sees her for days, they are long to call the cops and he will be the first suspect because he would be the last person to see her.

Sims groaned and he hated the sight of her. He regretted getting in a relationship with her and if he could take it all back, he would without thinking twice although he loves his children with her. He made a mistake once but  Sims reminded him every time they got into an argument or when he came home late or was working out of town. He hated what he did but he was always tired of being accused of something he did and he got tired of it and decided to give her something to scream about.

He didn't want to see her or even talk to her but when he heard about what happened at the restaurant, he got angry because he knew that Sims was doing this to get back at him. He came to her house that he bought to talk to her and ask her to stay away from his family but because she had a big mouth, she opened her mouth about his mother's past and he couldn't control how he reacted. Does he feel bad, no. Is he scared that he's going to lose the mother of his children? Yes.

He sat down and looked at the mess in front of him. He couldn't call Mbuso because one day he was going to tell his wife what he did and Luh was going to dislike him more than she already does. He took out his phone and called Busani.
“You okay?” Busani asked and he almost wanted to cry. He sounded like he was crying.
“I think she's going to die. She is in pain.”
“Where are you?”
“I'm in Simphiwe's house. I….”
“Bro, take a deep breath. Did anyone see you coming in?”

He nodded “Yes, her neighbour”
“Is your car in the driveway?”
“Yes”
“OK. Stay there and don't touch anything else, not even her. I'm on my way.” He hugged up.
Bonga wiped his tears. He was tired of Sims and all the bullshit she put him through. His life would be so much better without her being in it but what about his children?
An hour later, his brother walked in through the kitchen door with another guy and woman  he has never met. He was carrying a duffle bag. He stood up and Busani looked at Sims on the floor with blood covering her.

“What did you hit her with?”
“Just my fists.”
“She just couldn't keep her big mouth shut.” Busani said. The girl crouched down and felt Sim’s pulse.
“She's still alive” Bonga didn't know whether to be relieved or angry.

BUSANI.

He couldn't believe that his brother did all of this using his fists. He wished he had k**d her but on the other hand, he knew his brother would have never forgiven himself. He looked at him and he could see that he was going to break down at any minute.

“Bro, go to the children's bedroom and take a hot shower. Leave those clothes outside the bathroom door and you'll find clean ones on the bed. Did you phone Mbuso?”
“No”
“Good, go and change and I'll take care of this”
“What are you going to do with her?”
“Don't worry about that unless you want to know what's going to happen to her?”
We looked at each other and he knew what I was talking about.
“No”.

“Phume is going to take you home to Pietermaritzburg. You'll stay there until this whole mess is fixed. The children will also follow, okay?”
“Okay” he looked at Sims one last time then went to the bedrooms.
Kabelo materialised next to me.
“What can I help with?”
“Clean this damn house and get rid of my brother's DNA.”
“Done, what else?”
“I need her looking like the pictures the police took. Then get her in the car and make her get into an accident that will kill her. I need her dead before the sun rises.”
