Chapter Eleven

Izuku's POV

As soon as I was over the embarrassment of being exposed like that. I headed over to the energy drink section. Scanning through the flavors and different brand options I quickly decided to just get my favorite brand as well as one of each flavor. I mean it's not like I'm paying for it. I hadn't realized I mumbled that last part allowed. Intel I turned around and saw the confused look on one of the employees faces. Who was stocking shelves, he had froze halfway then looked at me. After a moment or two he just shrugged it off and kept stocking the shelves. I really need to stop doing that! I sped off in Aizawa's direction. Which of course was the jelly pouch area I walked up from behind the hero. "Hey Aizawa..." I watched as he jumped as high as a cartoon character and I started laughing.

"I'm not going to ask how you snuck up on a trained underground Hero..." Placing my energy drinks in the small basket that he had lazily been holding, he grunted at the added weight. I shrugged "Hmmm I can't just say I'm an experienced vigilante?" He sighed before completely shutting down that conversation. We payed or better yet Present Mic payed then we made are way back to his car. I stuck my hand in the bag Aizawa was holding and pulled out a random flavor. Blue-blast it said on the can I opened it not really caring that we were still walking. I was about to finally get my energy drink after about 3 days without one. When something ran into me. The impact almost made me topple over. I managed to save myself but my drink was now spiraling on the sidewalk. "Come on... really?!!??" I sighed. I swear Aizawa just saw the five stages of grief fly across my face in under 30 seconds. I looked down expecting a dog or something else small that could have run into my legs.

As soon as I looked down I was met with the red ruby eyes of a little girl... immediately I knew who this was, I grinned. Knowing the probability that Overhaul was not far behind. I activated my quirk. The chill was evident in the air, frost coded the floor beneath me. "Hmmm" I knew what I was going to do. The little girl who I knew was Eri, the granddaughter of the Hassaikai Boss. She attached herself to my leg clutching it like her life depended on it.

I made eye contact with a confused and concerned looking Eraserhead. I relaxed my body stiff movements won't do me any good. My eyes made their way to an alley not even a block away. I then decided to finally speak to the little girl clinging to my right leg. "The bad man is following you isn't he?" I asked her. She nodded and began to cry. I still didn't look in her direction, eyes still locked on the alley ahead. "I don't wanna go! Please I'll be good!! I promise". I would be lying if I said what she said didn't make me want to cry right along with her. "Well my name Is Kaizen... and this nice man right here is Eraserhead he is a hero" She looked up at that. "Hero?" She said trying and failing to wipe her tears away. I nodded and smiled, finally looking down at her. "Eri that man is bad he hurts people ok... he likes to trick people and do very bad things. But I'll make sure he won't hurt you or anyone else again..." Eri looked up at me huge tears coming down her face. "No! He'll hurt you!! He's too strong..." she was terrified of Overhall literally shaking with fear. And boy did that make me just wanna kill the man for not only hurting the little girl but also traumatizing her as well, a true monster indeed.

I played it off as if I was just amused by the idea and patted her head as I gently detached her fingers from my leg. I then bent down to her level and acted as if what I was going to tell her was a classified government secret. "You wanna know a secret ,you can't tell anyone though" she looked intrigued immediately and started nodding her head fast. "I won't tell anyone, promise" i leaned close to her ear as if telling a secret.
"I'm way stronger than that mean mask man". Her eyes went huge. But then she whispered back quietly eyeing Aizawa wearily. "Really?" I nodded dramatically. "Now what I need you to do Eri is go with this nice hero, I need to do something really quick ok? I'll see you again later". She looked at Eraserhead nervously. The man to his credit was trying his best to seem non threatening to the small child.

She let me pick her up and place her in Aizawa's hold. I covered her ears for what I said next. "This is Eri, she is Shie Hassaikai's granddaughter. He was induced into a comatose state... which in turn left her in the hands of her abuser also known as Overhaul" Eraser simply nodded processing this information. "she is connected to the on going case Sir Nighteye is currently leading". "Let's go problem child, we'll discuss this once we get to a safe location". I smiled and that's all the information he needed before he turned pale. "I know that look, you better not problem child... we need to discuss and form a plan" That wouldn't work. I looked at him with a serious expression. "I know every possible outcome of this... and I'm telling you Overhaul will be bloodied at my feet soon. Take her to U.A don't stop for anything Eraserhead... I'll take care of the rest". I walked into a near by alley. Once I was out of sight of the civilians I used the walls of the humid alley to propel myself up to the roof. Once my feet hit the rooftop I hid in a shadow watching as Eraserhead cursed realizing I had just 'vanished'. The last thing I heard before he ran off and around a corner with the little girl in his arms was... "Tsukauchi is going to murder me".

I turned around slowly, mask and hood already in place and ready for a fight. My eyes lock with those of the little girl's abuser. "You were wise to turn around and run with your tail between your legs the minute you realized who she bumped into... but clearly not smart enough to fully retreat?" Each word was practically dripping with venom. "They say you know everything I don't believe it, you're nothing but a wannabe hero". I chuckled closing my eyes. "You're a fool Chisako Kai...you refused to see things for what they really are, you expect others to listen and completely change there ideals, yet you stand here and refuse to overlook your own wronged beliefs". Overhaul just looked at me beyond enraged. I stepped forward quirk already active. "It's disgusting really... The man took you off the streets and raised you as his own yet in return you placed him in a coma, took his only grand child tortured her to the point were she shakes at the mention of your name. Is this how your repay the man that took you in when no one else would?".

"When you escaped that orphanage you were all alone. Forced to fend for yourself". There was a moment of silence as all the color from Overhauls face drained, he stepped back. "Your actions have left you completely alone once again". He took off his gloves and we stood there for a moment he was shaking with fear and anger. "You are going to ruin all my hard work!! I won't let you!! What I did was for the bosses own good!!" He lunged and I did the same.

"That wasn't your decision to make... He would be disappointed".

Aizawa's POV

I quickly threw the bags in the car and placed two seat belts on the small child in the backseat of my car. I took a frustrated deep breath. I almost jumped when the little girl spoke. "Mr. Ease- Eraserhead where did Kaizen go?" I spoke to her as I sped to U.A. "Try not to worry too much kid he just had to go and take care of something really quick". She stayed silent after that, I could still tell she was scared of me. I couldn't help but worry about the kid vigilante he better not get in over his head. Another 10 minutes went by in absolute silence. We were only about 2 minutes away from U.A when Eri decided to talk again. "Mr Eraserhead, h-how did Kaizen know my name?" Wait... she's never met Kaizen before?? So how in the world did the kid know all that information about her situation... I hid a smile in my capture weapon as I replied.

"I don't know kid, I really don't know, that problem child just seems to know... well everything".

Hey Little ghosts what's up. The next chapter should be out this Sunday or maybe even Monday... knowing me I'll probably post it at like 1am... anyways... I'm tired so I'm gonna take a nap.
