Izuku's POV

Walking into my little hideout while dodging the many smoke bombs that littered the floor. They had fallen off of there stands while I was out cold (no pun intended) in Erasers apartment. My body moving as if it was on autopilot, affectedly avoiding the small circular bombs. But I wasn't particularly paying attention to my surroundings, my thoughts consumed by curiosity. What did I do to get so many requests within this short amount of time? There were just too many possibilities. Making my way over to the computer, I began quickly logging in. I hadn't even registered the Dad-tective sitting on my bed, his hands clutching his head as he looked down at the floor. He began mumbling something along the lines of Nezu, parenting books, something about a team up and world domination? I shrugged it off despite my curiosity, I wasn't going to pry, it wasn't any of my business. After all I don't want to come off as annoying or rude.

Once I was successfully logged into my computer, codes began to fill the screen, my eyes bounced across the screen at an alarming speed. Going over the security I had in placed on my platform. Only after making sure both my platform and government backdoors weren't tampered with did I finally click to my notifications page. As I scanned the messages I very quickly understood the situation I got myself into. "Ok this just got a little interesting..." A feral grin spread across my face as I went through my messages. That's when the Dad-tective decided to speak. "Izuku what happened." Turning around to look at him grin still displayed on my face. "So apparently at precisely 7:03pm, or about 24 minutes ago an insider leaked what I did to Overhaul on the internet. Reporters got a hold of the story like a pack of wild animals. Not long after reporters and journalists were going crazy over the discovery of some mysterious Vigilante". The Dad-tective hummed. I looked away from my screen intending to continue what I was doing but stopped. A serious expression crossed my new guardians face as he popped out his phone, probably intending to take a look himself. I smiled as I turned in my chair, facing my computer once more. I was just about to respond to some urgent requests but something else on my study caught my attention.

My eyes went wide not believing what I was seeing. But once the realization kicked in, excitement filled my eyes. Followed by a smile. There standing on my desk was an open can of my favorite brand of energy drink!! I quickly snatched it up as if something would crawl from the shadows and snatch it away from me. I quickly brought it to my lips intending to drink it all in a time frame that was believed to be not humanly possible. Only to realize it was completely empty... a small frown formed its way onto my features as I let my head slump down onto my keyboard below. My head hitting it harder than I expected. The Dad-tective jumped at the loud bang that followed. "Are you feeling ok?" I nodded not looking up to meet his eyes. "Really because it doesn't seem like it kid". Once I explained I hadn't had my favorite drink for almost 4days he nodded along, promising me he would take me to the store to buy some on are way 'home'. The word still felt odd to hear, I guess it will take some getting used to. I blinked shaking my head like it would magically clear my thoughts, I'm getting off track.

"News stations are doing broadcasts talking about the defeat of the 'very dangerous' villain boss... this might change a few things..."

My gaze had fallen back to the screen as I rambled my thoughts aloud. It was then that I remembered I had yet to reactivate my quirk. Not having a small portion activated during all hours of the day has had its effects on me. Quickly I activated it as I felt the familiar sensation of my power flow back into my body. It was like breathing a breath of fresh air for the first time in forever. But the Dad-tective definitely didn't know that, his reaction was immediate. He jumped up from were he was sitting, and rushed to were I was going through the computer. "Are you ok the last time your eyes looked like that you were out for three days". I quickly tried to reassure him I was not in any danger, as he began to suggest we see recovery girl again. He already had his phone out. "I'm fine, I promise I don't need to go to the hospital or see a doctor". "Are you sure??" Still seeing the unease in his posture and the panic in his eyes. And a quick glance at the phone screen in his hands would reveal Recovery-Girls contact. (Did he have her on speed dial or something?) I decided to explain a few things. A sigh left my mouth as guilt began clawing its way into my mind.
