The next morning, they had dodgeball game after breakfast, and after lunch time were the college credit classes again.
That night, they didn't have any events or activities. In other words, they were free.
They were suggested by the organizers and volunteers to start preparing for the art festival if they were participating, or any other competitions that they wished to join.
In the girls' room, which they invited Prim over, they were discussing whether or not if they were going to join the art festival.
Shelley was trying to recall the rules of the art festival. "They said, no limitations on themes, categories, or number of participants. It's totally up to us, right?"
Xenia nodded her head and answered, "Yes, as long as it's not inappropriate."
JJ sat down on her bed and asked everyone, "So, any idea?"
Hanna started throwing questions, to brainstorm with them. "Anyone knows how to draw?"
Shelley and Eliza raised their hands, and Hanna gasped, "That's only two of you."
Lucia asked the second question, "Anyone who has the art kind of hobby? Or even good at it?"
Art kind of hobby? Did she mean something like musical instruments, dancing, drawings, making art pieces, performances...
Nobody answered, everyone was thinking.
Carys looked around the room and she came to her mind. "I think most of us play piano."
As far as she knew, besides her, she knew Hanna, Xenia, JJ, Prim and Molly could play pianos as well. That's already six of them.
Carys sighed before anyone could respond, "but we can't just simply play piano, we need to be more creative."
The room was in silence again. Shelley even wanted to say that maybe they should not join the festival. It could be interesting too just being the audience.
But before she could make her suggestions, Prim raised her hand and said, "I...have an idea..."
JJ was looking forward to hear Prim's idea, so did everyone else. JJ smiled at Prim and said, "Amaze me, please."
Prim started sharing her ideas. It was actually a drama play that she had in mind for some time now, and finally she got the chance to share it or maybe even make it happen.
Here's the reactions of the girls after listening to Prim's idea for art festival.
Hanna was the first to shout out to Prim. "Oh my god! Prim, you're such a genius!"
Molly also asked in surprise, "How do you come up with that?"
Xenia was nodding her head, praising Prim, "That's a really good idea!"
Lucia smiled, she could see a big success in this. "I am totally in."
JJ went to hug Prim happily, holding her head, yes, her head, and said, "I really want to see what else you have in your mind!"
Carys then asked, "Have you written the script?"
Prim shook her head. "Not yet." She only had the idea in her mind, she never thought that it would really happen.
JJ went back to her bed and grabbed her laptop. "Come on, we will help you with it."
Molly suggested, "Let's go to the canteen, and get the boys over too, see if they want to join us."
Hanna knew better about how the boys were. They were lazy and didn't care about anything else but themselves. She didn't even expect them to be interested in something like the art festival.
Hanna said, "Don't call them, I'll go to their room, and drag them there."
Shelley volunteered herself, she didn't want to let Hanna to deal with the boys alone. "I'll go with you."
Lucia took her laptop from her bed too, and said to Hanna and Shelley, "We will take our laptops and wait for you guys at the canteen."
Shelley and Hanna went to the boys' hostel and found their room. The door was left opened, so they just went into the room and knocked on the opened door twice to let them know they were here.
Only the four boys that they were looking for were there, and it was Rion, who first noticed them. He looked surprised, "What are you guys doing here?"
Hanna explained to them, "We're going to discuss some ideas about the Art Festival. Just asking if you guys are joining?"
Cohen replied in a lazy tone, waving his phone, "You could've just called."
"Hmmm," Hanna walked into the room, stood besides Mason's bed, and laughed, "we know you too well, so we're here to make sure you'll be there."
Suddenly, a guy showed up at Shelley's back calling her nickname, making her jumped a little bit. It turned out the voice belonged to Danny. He asked, "Leyley, why are you here?"
Shelley didn't know why Danny was here either, but she didn't really care. She glared at Danny and warned him, "Hey, I told you, stop calling me that! Except if you're okay with me calling you N....."
Scared if Shelley really blurted out his nickname, Danny immediately covered Shelley's mouth with his right hand, making her couldn't make any sound, and apologized to her, "Alright, sorry, sorry, stop talking."
Shelley stopped talking, she hit on Danny's hand that covered on her mouth, and pulled it down at last. Just when Danny thought she was still gonna call him his nickname, she said, "You should definitely join us too, Danny."
"What?" Danny didn't have a clue about what was Shelley talking about.
But Shelley didn't answer him. She looked at his other roommates and said, "Let's go, guys!"
Hanna pulled her brother and her best friends out from their bed one by one. "Mason, Elijah, Cohen, big bros, get moving."
Mason looked really confused. "What are you guys really up to?"
Shelley replied mysteriously, "Just come, and you'll find out."
"Uhhh, why am I going too?" Danny looked at them very curiously. He knew Shelley and his roommates were from the same town and the same high school, he thought they were going to have a school gathering or something, so why was he getting involved too?
Shelley looked at Danny, crossing her arms in front of her chest, "It's because you have to make it up to me for calling my childhood nickname!"
Hanna finally got to ask Shelley a question that had been in her mind for a while now, "But isn't Lily a kind of flower?"
"Not the same Lily, Hanna," Shelley scratched her forehead, trying to explain, "that's a pretty name, but uhm, I just don't like it."
"Got it," Hanna nodded her head in understanding, she looked at Danny too, wondering how a British boy could be so close to Shelley, "and he is...?"
"He is Danny, my childhood neighbor, Danny, this is Hanna, my rommate," Shelly introduced Danny to Hanna, and vice versa.
Cohen, Mason and Elijah were already on their way the canteen, but Rion was heading back to his bed. Shelley thought he didn't want to go, so she called his name, "Rion!!"
Rion was flipping his blanket and pillow, seemed tk be looking for something, "Wait a sec, I'm looking for my phone."
"Where's your other roommates?" Shelley wondered if they're trying to make the play happen, they would need as much help as they could.
"No idea." Rion shrugged. When he found his phone, he asked Shelley curiously, "Why are you getting everyone?"
Shelley wanted to save the mystery for later. She pushed Rion out of the room and urged, "Stop asking questions. Let's go."
