Cohen went back to his room and found Mason still haven't finished unpacking.

He walked passed him to reach his bed. Looking at the things his mother packed for him, he heaved a sighed. Now he kind of regretted staying.

Apparently he wasn't the only one who didn't really want to stay. Mason finally talked after being silent for quite a while. He asked Cohen, "We really can't leave now?"

Cohen understood his feelings, but they couldn't leave now, not after promising their parents they'll stay. "No, we can't." Even if we really wanted to. His inside voice added.

"I didn't really want to stay." Mason's voice was so low like it was just a murmur, but Cohen still heard what he said.

"You could've said something just now." Cohen responded coldly while taking out his sweatshirts and sweatpants from his bag.

He counted, there's only four set of sweatshirts and sweatpants, he nearly crumbled. Does this mean we have to do laundry too? He quietly screamed inside.

While Cohen was still worrying about how he was going to do his laundry, Mason's voice pulled him back to reality. "I should've."

Cohen stopped what he was doing and looked at his best friend, and said, "And you should know that you can't avoid her forever."

"I don't know what are you talking about." Mason turned away to not look at Cohen and pretending he was folding his shirts.

Again, he was avoiding that topic. Whenever Cohen brought it up, he acted this way, always liked to play the fool.

There's a reason why Mason being so quiet all this time, even more quiet than usual. The same reason why he wanted to get out of this place so bad, which was totally different from the reason why Cohen didn't want to be here.

Cohen wasn't a big fan of outdoor activities, that's why, but for Mason, it was because of a girl, and the girl was Xenia.

Suddenly, Elijah coming into the room and said to everyone in the room. "Finish unpacking and get changed, our first activity is starting in five minutes."

Cohen looked at the time on his phone, and realized twenty five has passed and they have to all gather at the hall in five minutes for their first activity.

"Do you know what's the first activity?" He heard one of his roommates asking another, he still hasn't learn their names, or faces. If he met his roommates outside of this room, he definitely won't recognize them.

He wasn't interested in knowing what's the first activity they're going to have, nor he cared about it, he took off his tight tee and changed into a loose hoodie.

Shifting the topic back to the story of Mason and Xenia. The two of them, were an item. They were together for almost a year, but they broke up because Xenia said they were better off as friends. More accurately, Xenia broke up with him.

It's been almost six months after they broke up, Xenia has been nothing but perfectly fine all these time but Mason has been really depressed ever since.

Two months ago when they were spending more time with Carys and Shelley, Cohen thought Mason could finally get distracted and moved on, but after he saw Xenia here, he was back to being the depressed Mason once again.

Now that Cohen was putting two and two together, he realized that Mason and Xenia never really met after breaking up, today was the first time the two met each other after six months.

No wonder he was so depressed at the moment.

"Hurry up, Blake, we're going to be late." It was one minute left until the activity started, and Shelley assumed they're sure going to be late.
