12. Laser Tag and Deals

"Nari is on my team." Jungwon argued and Sunghoon shook his head.

"I won the rock, paper, scissors game and I get to pick first and I pick her." Sunghoon said and Jungwon looked at me as if he expected me to do something. I shrugged.

"Rules are rules, Won." I replied. "Pick someone else."

"I don't want someone else, I want you." Jungwon said and I could feel my cheeks go red.

"I am way better at this than she is." Riki complained. "You should want me more than her."

"Don't say that too loudly," Jake laughed, patting him on the shoulder.

"Fine, Jay." Jungwon finally said and they continued picking the teams for laser tag. I ended up with Sunghoon, Jake, and Sunoo vs Jungwon, Jay, Riki, and Heeseung.

Our team heads in at a different location than Jungwon's. We split up and I took out Riki almost immediately. Better than me, ha. It's announced over the intercom.

Soon I hear that Sunghoon is gone, as are Sunoo and Jay. That leaves two from each of our teams.

I meet up with Jake behind a wall to strategize.

"I want to take out Jungwon." I told him and he nodded, looking around.

"Okay, and I will try for Heeseung." He said.

Jake went to the left and I went to the right. I peek around every corner and check everywhere I think Jungwon could be hiding, but he isn't anywhere. It is announced that Jungwon has taken out Jake and I curse. That only leaves me against the two of them.

My heart felt like it might break through my chest and I tried to keep my breathing even and calm my nerves. I can do this. Even if the only thing I can hear is the blood rushing in my ears.

I have my back firmly against a wall and I peek around it, seeing nothing. I went to move around the wall, but a hand wrapped around my arm and it shoved me back against the wall.

Jungwon was in front of me now wearing a satisfied smirk.

"Found you."

"I guess you did."

He smiled and began to lean in for a kiss and my eyes widened. Heeseung is around here somewhere and the last time I checked, we weren't telling our friends about our pact. I took my gun and I shot Jungwon. The announcer lets the arena know I have taken out Jungwon.

"That's cold." Jungwon laughed.

"That's laser tag." I shrugged.

"You will pay for that later." Jungwon promised me with a nod and then kissed my cheek before walking away.

Heeseung found me soon after and took me out of the game, causing Jungwon's team to win anyway.

We played two more rounds, they beat us every time. It was infuriating.

"Good thing we didn't bet, huh?" Heeseung laughed, taking a sip of his beer as we all sat down for dinner after.

"Is everyone packed for the spring break trip next week?" I asked, wanting to get the subject off the laser tag game, because Jake looked like he might explode.

"Yeeees!" Sunoo replied.

As we sat there, discussing what we were going to do for our week at the beach, Jungwon's hand slid over, resting on my thigh. We are at the end of the circular booth, but it is still risky.

I shove his hand away, giving him a look. He tilted his head, narrowing his eyes, his cheeks getting puffy in an adorable pout as he put his hand back. This happened twice before I "accidently" poured sauce on myself.

"Oh crap." I acted surprised and stood up. "Jungwon, will you help me clean this off?"

Jungwon nodded and followed me toward the bathrooms.

Thankfully it is a single bathroom, no stalls.

"What are you doing?" I asked as soon as the door was shut.

"What do you mean?"

"At laser tag you tried to kiss me and now you are touching my leg."

"I can't help it." Jungwon replied, taking a step closer to me. "You were sitting so close."

"I should sit away from you then?"

"No!" He protested and grabbed my waist, pulling me to him. "Nobody noticed."

"If you keep doing it they will. And then what? How do we explain?" I sighed, looking away from him. "You said you didn't want to date. It would ruin our friendship. I don't want our friends to catch on and be confused or make something out of this that it's not."

"I know, I know." He nodded. "I shouldn't have done either thing. I will control myself. I promise."

"Stop acting like I am scolding you." I laughed, leaning in, quickly pecking him on the lips.

"You are still rooming with me for spring break?"

"Of course. We already got the room."

Jungwon leaned in, kissing me. Softly at first, but soon became aggressive as his hands roamed under my shirt.

"Jungwon, we have to go back out."

"Why?"

"They are going to think something happened."

"Something is happening." He replied, taking my hand and guiding it to the bulge in his pants. How is he turned on right now?

"Jungwon, is that all you think about anymore?"

"What do you expect when you are sitting that close to me? I can smell your perfume, I could feel your leg pressed against mine."

"You sound like an addict."

"Maybe I am. Maybe I am addicted to you." He said in a playful tone as he tried to kiss me again. I stopped him.

"Maybe it might do you good to go without it for a while."

"Seriously?" He laughed, shaking his head. "You are just as bad as I am. The other day I didn't even get the door shut when I came home from campus before you jumped me."

"I didn't jump you." I blushed, looking away. It was a lie, I had jumped him. Literally jumped on him.

"And let's not forget whenever I come back from working out." He kept going, his thumb drawing circles on my back. "Every. Single. Time."

"Okay okay, point made." I said, rolling my eyes. "How about we make a bet, then?"

"A bet?"

"Whoever can go without sex the longest gets a wish."

"What kind of wish?" He narrowed his eyes.

"Anything they want. No limits."

Jungwon thought about it for a minute. I can tell he has something in mind that he wants and is trying to figure out if it is worth giving up sex for.

"Can we still do other stuff?" He asked.

"Nothing sexual. We can make out, that's it."

"Are you guys okay in there?" Sunoo asked as he knocked at the door.

"Yes! It just won't come off." I yelled back. "I am coming out now." Then I looked at Jungwon. "Well?"

"Fine. Deal."
