The snow fell in large fluffy flakes outside the window, accumulating everywhere, painting the world outside white. A loud knock came from my door and I knew what was coming next.

"Do you wanna build a snowman?" Jungwon sang on the other side and I laughed. Everytime, without fail, this happened.

I opened my door to see Jungwon standing there, a huge smile on his face, already bundled up in his large coat, gloves, and beanie.

"Why aren't you dressed for snow?" Jungwon looked me over, standing there in my pink cat pajamas.

"It's past midnight, Jungwon."

"Nari, it's tradition!"

"We are twenty one on vacation by ourselves for the first time. Should we not act like adults?"

"No!" Jungwon protested. "Not if that means not building Olaf."

"I regret ever introducing you to Frozen sometimes." I said with a sigh and nodded. "Give me five minutes."

I hurried to get my snow gear on, already having it out because we knew it was going to snow. It always does on our first night here.

Jungwon and I have been coming to this resort for winter break since we were little. Most of the time it is with our families, his grandmother and sisters, sometimes his parents. My mom and brother. But this year, it was just the two of us. Well, us and several of our other friends that got their own rooms.

Jungwon and I hurried outside, building our snowman. After two hours we returned back inside. It took that long because Jungwon's snowmen have to be perfect. The body has to be just the right size, he doesn't play around when it comes to snowmen.

"I can't feel my toes." I said, putting my bare feet at the base of the fireplace as Jungwon turned it on. I had gathered blankets and made hot chocolate.

After the fire was lit Jungwon hurried back over to me and I opened the blanket letting him in. The tip of his nose and his cheeks were still red from the cold.

"I am glad we didn't go out with the others tonight." I said, sipping my hot chocolate and looking into the fire.

"Yeah, the first night should always just be us."

Jungwon and I fell asleep in front of the fire, just like we used to do when we were kids.

When I woke up the next morning from a blinding light coming through the window, there was a heaviness to my body that was unfamiliar. I yawn, opening my eyes and looking over to see Jungwon. He is pressed firmly against me, his arms wrapped tightly around me and his face buried in the back of my neck.

Thankfully our families didn't come, because if they walked in on this they would surely misunderstand. Especially considering that pressed against my ass was a hard outline of a part of Jungwon I had never felt before.

"Jungwon," I said, patting his arm gently trying to get him awake. "Jungwon."

"Hmm..." He began to stir, but didn't move his arms from me. "Oh, good morning." He said, still sounding half asleep. I waited for him to move, trying my best to focus on something else beside him pressing into me.

"Jungwon," I said again when he didn't move. "Can you, um... my back..."

"What?" He asked and then his body went still before flying away from my body. "Oh god, I am sorry. It happens when I sleep sometimes..."

"Morning wood gets the best of them." I said trying to make a joke out of it, but I cannot face him right now. I know he is equally as embarrassed, if not more so.

"I am... I'm going to, um..." he tripped over his words and I heard him scrambling to his feet behind me. "Shower." He finally got out and took off running toward his room.

I sat there for a minute, staring into the dead fireplace. Jungwon gets morning wood, like every other man alive. Something I had never thought about my best friend. Maybe we shouldn't sleep so close together anymore.

That size was impressive, though. An intrusive thought made itself known and I shook my head, covering my hands with my face. No! I couldn't think that about Jungwon. He was my best friend and that was it.

It took awhile before Jungwon was able to face me. He came out around lunch to go out with our friends, but wouldn't meet my eye. Everyone found it weird we weren't talking, but I wasn't blabbing about this morning.

It was only when we were back in our suite, each in our rooms getting ready for a party held by a local we know, did I decide to break the silence.

"Jungwon," I said, leaning against his open door. "Are you going to stay like this forever?"

"Like that?"

"You won't even look at me. You make me feel like I have done something wrong."

"Nari, you have done nothing wrong." He rushed to say, his back still to me, but I could see the tops of his ears getting red. "I am just embarrassed."

"It is really no big deal. It happens to every guy."

"So you aren't mad at me?" He finally turns around, looking at me with a concerned look on his face.

"Of course not. You were asleep, you couldn't control it."

"I am so glad you said that." He sighed with relief. "Because the last thing I ever want to do is ruin our friendship."
