Jungwon and I ate quickly and got the meds, both having bad hangovers and regretting it instantly. We came back to the apartment and fell asleep in my bed, him wrapped tightly around me.
When I woke up, Jungwon was gone. I rubbed my eyes, sitting up in bed, looking around. He hadn't run again, had he?
I walked into the living room at the same time the door to our apartment opened. Jungwon walked in, changing his shoes. His hair looked wet and he was wearing sweatpants and a tank top.
"Did you go workout?"
"Yeah, it helps with hangovers." He said, walking into the room. "Did you sleep well?"
Jungwon took a few steps forward, looking at me, taking out his airpods and putting them in their case. Had he always been this hot? Was it just because he had come back from working out or the agreement we made this morning?
"Nari? You okay?" He placed a hand over my forehead.
"Jungwon, I'm fine." I pushed his hand away and he smiled.
"Do you want to make dinner together? Let me shower and change and we can go pick up the ingredients."
He went to walk away and I grabbed his arm. We hadn't mentioned the agreement we made this morning and I had no idea what the rules were. I did know that after agreeing to add sex into our friendship, he couldn't walk in looking like this and not expect me to react.
"What's wrong?" He asked, a worried expression crossing his face.
I stepped forward, leaning up to kiss him, running my hands down his bare arms.
Jungwon's entire body went stiff with surprise for a moment, but he then wrapped a hand around my back, pulling me closer to him.
Kissing Jungwon while sober is not as weird as I expected it to be. Maybe it's because we have done it a few times while drunk now, but it seemed normal.
"Do you not want me to shower first?" He asked against my mouth and I shook my head. The thought of him stopping, even for the half hour it takes him to shower, is unbearable. "I'm all sweaty."
"No." I replied, pulling his shirt off of him and throwing it to the floor.
Jungwon walked backward, pulling me with him until we reached the couch. He sat down and pulled me on top of him, straddling him.
"Nari," he moans as I kiss down his neck, biting lightly. His hands run up my back, under my shirt until I have to pull back and take it off. I take a minute to meet Jungwon's eyes, giving him an out if he wanted one.
Instead, he took my waist and laid me down on the couch, coming up over me to kiss me again. I ran my hands down his body until I got to the top of his sweatpants.
I let my hand easily slide into them and underneath his boxers, wrapping my hand around the hardness I find there.
"God." He groaned, resting his head on my shoulder, still supporting his weight above me. His hips thrust forward, into my hand.
I slowly teased him, running my fingers lightly down him, before gripping him again, gaining me another glorious moan. I turn my head, capturing his lips with mine again, needing the feeling to be back.
"Is this too hard?" I asked, as I tightened my grip. Jungwon shook his head, but stopped my hand.
"If you keep that up I am going to finish too early." He said, dropping his head to my chest. Right as he pushed my bra up, there was a knock at the door. We both still and Jungwon looked up at me.
"Are you expecting someone?" I asked and he shook his head. Another knock came and I sighed.
"Should we answer it?"
"No." Jungwon said. I laughed and took my hand out of his pants. "I'm going to kill whoever's there."
We both quickly pull on our shirts and I run my hand through my hair before following Jungwon to the door. He checked to see who it was and then looked at me with a questioning look as he opened the door.
"Hey, Jay." He said. Jay stood there with his hands in his pockets, rocking back on his feet slightly.
"Jay? What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I know I said I would call, but I wanted to come by and see how you were doing in person."
"I am going to go take that shower." Jungwon said, pointing in the direction of the bathroom, before leaving me alone with Jay. I invited Jay in and guided him to the dining room table.
"Jay, I thought I made things clear last night."
"You remember?" He nodded. "You were so drunk, I didn't think you would. I am willing to move past that and write it off as drunken babble."
"Jay, I meant what I said. Drunk or not, I don't think we should date anymore." I replied. "I want to keep you as a friend, but I don't see anything romantic for us in the future."
"Why? Things were going great. Did Jungwon say something in that room last night?"
"No, he didn't say anything about you." I lied. "I have been meaning to do this for awhile."
"If that is your decision." He nodded with a sigh.
"I do want to stay friends."
"We have the same friends, it'd be hard not to." He nodded and stood up. "I will get going then."
"I am sorry, Jay."
"Don't be. If you don't feel it you don't feel it." He leaned over and kissed my cheek. "I tried."
I walked him back to the door and gave a small wave as he went toward the elevator. I watched until the doors were closed.
I hurried back into the apartment and found Jungwon standing at the bathroom door, still clothed in what he was wearing before. He had been eavesdropping.
"It's really over now?"
"It was over last night, he just didn't believe me."
"Good." He said, walking over and picking me up, carrying me into his room.
"Jungwon." I laughed at his eagerness as he discarded his shirt and pants before climbing over me.
"You still want to, right?"
"Fuck yes." I said, pulling him back to my mouth.
"Nari," he warned about my cursing and I just smiled into my mouth.
