Monday

Seokjin was standing in line to order coffee, scrolling through his phone. When it was finally his turn, he slid his phone into his pocket and looked up to place his order-but the words caught in his throat. In front of him stood the most stunning person he'd ever seen.

The first thing he noticed were the man's doe eyes, exuding an innocence that contradicted his bold, edgy style. An eyebrow piercing, a lip ring, and multiple ear piercings sparkled against his skin. His long hair was tied back in a ponytail, revealing a cute nose, thin lips, a buff chest, and muscular, tattoo-covered arms displayed under half-rolled sleeves. Even though Seokjin couldn't see below the counter, he was sure this man's confidence was fully justified, and in that moment, he was already imagining what it would feel like to-

"Ahem."

Seokjin's fantasies came to a halt as he heard the man clear his throat. Embarrassed, he realized he'd been staring for several minutes, causing his ears and neck to burn.

Clearing his own throat, he managed, "Um, yeah. A cappuccino, please."

He quickly paid, then escaped to the receiving counter to collect his coffee. Without a word, he left the café, heart pounding in his chest.

Out on the street, he ducked into a narrow alley and leaned against the wall, trying to catch his breath. The thought of the barista's face filled his mind, bringing a smile to his lips. Maybe seeing that face every morning wouldn't be so bad.

After a few deep breaths, he pulled himself together, took a sip of coffee, and walked the short distance to his office. Settling into his desk, he glared at the empty coffee cup as if it were the source of his humiliation.

"What did that poor cup ever do to you?" Seokjin jumped, startled by his best friend Jimin, who was leaning against the doorframe.

Seokjin sighed and explained the whole café encounter, describing the barista in detail.

"So glaring at the cup is going to help you forget how you drooled over a guy in public?" Jimin laughed.

Seokjin groaned, "First of all, I did not drool! I was admiring him. And secondly, if I hadn't gone to that café for this stupid cup of coffee, I wouldn't have met the most handsome, sexy man alive."

"Wait a second. You barely spoke to him. How do you know he has a deep voice?" Jimin asked.

"He cleared his throat, remember?"

"Right. And from a throat clear, you know his voice type, just like how seeing his upper half was enough for you to be so sure about the rest?" Jimin shook his head, amused.

Seokjin shrugged, unable to deny it. Jimin pressed, "So, what are you going to do about it?"

"About what?"

"Your crush."

Seokjin sighed. "I'll just find a new café nearby. Or better yet, I'll make my own coffee. Or maybe... quit coffee altogether."

"Or," Jimin cut in, "you could go back and try talking to him. Maybe let him get to know you."

"I can't go back there! I probably looked like a total weirdo."

"Hey, don't stress. Go back a few times, act casually, maybe make some small talk. Just trust me-no one can resist you. You're Worldwide Handsome for a reason."

Seokjin sighed, but he was beginning to feel slightly encouraged. "Fine, I'll go back tomorrow."

The rest of the day, though, Seokjin couldn't stop thinking about the man. He tried to focus on work but instead found himself googling, How to start a conversation with your crush and Ways to impress someone.
