We'll be running wild
Loving like it's made for us
Running 'till there's nothing left
'Till our last breath

The discharge day was a long-awaited celebration. As Jimin and Jungkook stepped out of the gates in their neatly pressed uniforms, the air was filled with cheers and applause. BTS was finally whole again, and the moment was overwhelming for everyone.

Namjoon, Hoseok, Taehyung, Yoongi, and Seokjin were all there, waiting to embrace their youngest members. Hugs were exchanged, smiles never left their faces, and their words were filled with pride and love. The cameras captured every second, as this was not just a private reunion but also a moment for the ARMY, who had waited just as long for Jimin and Jungkook's return.

Once the formalities were over, the group headed to their company for a scheduled VLive. The fans deserved this celebration too, and the focus was entirely on Jimin and Jungkook. Though Seokjin stayed near Jungkook, his touches subtle but reassuring, Jungkook was struggling to keep his emotions in check. Every glance he stole at Seokjin made his heart ache more. He had waited too long, and every passing second felt like an eternity.

---

By the time they reached home, Jungkook was restless. The ride felt endless, as he rode alone without seokjin and though he tried to engage in conversation with the driver, his mind was elsewhere. He needed to see Seokjin, to hold him, to feel him. The small, fleeting hug they’d shared at the military gate earlier wasn’t enough.

When they entered the house—the one Seokjin owned but had become their shared home—Jungkook was surprised. Both their families were there, waiting with warm smiles.

“Jungkookie!” his mother exclaimed, pulling him into a tight hug. Her hands trembled as she caressed his face, kissing his cheeks and forehead. “You’ve gotten so strong and grown so much. My baby…”

“Eomma,” Jungkook whispered, his voice thick with emotion. He wanted to cry, but he held himself together, knowing his tears would break her.

His father stepped forward next, pulling Jungkook into a firm embrace. “You’ve always made me so proud,” he said, his voice steady yet filled with emotion. “Welcome home, son.”

Jungkook’s brother followed, his hug playful yet tight. “Finally, our golden maknae is back. We’ve missed you, man.”

Jungkook chuckled, his tension easing slightly. “I missed you all too.”

Seokjin’s family waited patiently, their eyes kind and warm. Seokjin’s mother was the next to embrace Jungkook, her love palpable in the way she kissed his forehead. “You’re back, Jungkook-ah. It feels like the family is complete again,” she said softly.

Seokjin’s father gave Jungkook a firm hug, patting his back. “Welcome home. We’re proud of you.”

Jungkook’s heart swelled. Seokjin’s family had always treated him like one of their own, and their love was a comfort he had cherished during his lonely trainee days.

---

When the night wound down, Seokjin’s parents and Jungkook’s brother left, giving them space. Jungkook’s parents stayed the night in a guest room, their presence comforting but unobtrusive.

Seokjin had just finished cleaning up in the kitchen when he entered their bedroom. He barely had time to close the door before Jungkook was on him, pushing him gently but firmly against the wall.

“Jungkook—” Seokjin started, but the words were stolen from his lips as Jungkook kissed him. It was not a gentle kiss, but one filled with longing, desperation, and the ache of two years spent apart.

Seokjin froze for only a second before melting into the kiss, his arms wrapping around Jungkook’s neck. Their lips moved together in a rhythm only they understood, slow and deliberate, as though trying to make up for every moment they had missed.

“I missed you,” Jungkook murmured against Seokjin’s lips, his hands gripping his waist as though afraid he might disappear.

“I missed you too,” Seokjin whispered, his voice trembling. “So much.”

Jungkook’s hands trailed up to cup Seokjin’s face, his thumbs brushing over his cheeks as he deepened the kiss. Every touch, every press of their lips was a promise—a reminder of their love, their connection, their everything.

When they finally broke apart, their breaths were ragged, their foreheads resting together. “Hyung,” Jungkook said softly, his voice cracking. “I don’t want to let go of you. Not ever.”

“Then don’t,” Seokjin replied, his hands threading through Jungkook’s hair. “I’m not going anywhere.”

---

Hours later, as they lay tangled together under the sheets, Jungkook’s arms wrapped tightly around Seokjin, the silence between them was filled with unspoken emotions.

Seokjin felt something wet against his neck and realized Jungkook was crying. “Kook,” he said softly, stroking his back.

“I’m sorry,” Jungkook choked out, his voice muffled against Seokjin’s skin. “I just... I love you so much. I don’t know how I managed without you.”

Seokjin’s own tears fell freely now, and he pressed a kiss to Jungkook’s temple. “I love you too. More than anything. We’re here now, together, and that’s all that matters.”

They held each other tightly, their sobs mixing with soft whispers of love and reassurance.

“You’re my everything, hyung,” Jungkook said, his voice steady despite the tears. “Loving you feels like it’s what I was meant to do. Forever.”

Seokjin smiled, his heart full. “And I’ll keep loving you, Jungkook, until my very last breath.”

Their love was undeniable, unshakable. It was the kind of love that defied time, distance, and everything in between—a love that truly felt like it was made for them.

---

As time passed, their love only deepened. They faced challenges and celebrated victories, always together, always as one. They supported each other’s dreams, but they never lost sight of the simple truth that their love was the foundation of everything they did.

One evening, as they sat on their balcony, watching the stars, Jungkook reached for Seokjin’s hand.

“Hyung,” he said, his voice steady but filled with emotion. “I promise you this. No matter where life takes us, no matter what happens, I will love you with everything I have. Every breath, every heartbeat—it’s all yours.”

Seokjin squeezed his hand, his smile radiant. “And I promise you the same, Jungkook-ah. You are my forever, in this life and beyond.”

As they sat under the starlit sky, their hands entwined, they knew that their love was something rare, something extraordinary. It wasn’t just a love story—it was theirs. A love made for them, a love that would last until the very last breath.
