It was an ordinary day when Jimin was rushing to class, his head buried in his phone, trying to finish some last-minute notes before the lecture started. As he walked quickly through the crowded campus, his heart skipped a beat when he spotted the person he'd had a crush on for over a year-Seokjin, standing near the entrance to one of the lecture halls. Without thinking, Jimin sprinted forward, but fate had other plans.
Jimin's shoulder collided with Seokjin's, and the impact caused both of them to tumble to the ground in a heap of tangled limbs.
"Ah!" Seokjin groaned, his back hitting the ground first, followed by Jimin landing right on top of him.
Jimin scrambled to sit up, his face flushed with embarrassment. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry, Seokjin-shi!" He quickly started to get up, but his heart was racing-not just from the fall, but because he had just collided with the one person he had secretly admired for so long.
Seokjin, already sitting up and brushing himself off, gave a soft laugh. "Look where you're going, Jimin," he teased, his voice low and warm.
Jimin froze. "Wait... you know my name?" he stammered, his eyes wide in surprise. He had never imagined that Seokjin-his senior and the object of his crush-knew who he was.
Seokjin grinned, brushing a lock of hair behind his ear. "Of course I do. You're the one who always sings so beautifully during practice. Hard not to notice you." He winked, and Jimin's heart skipped a beat.
Jimin blinked, still processing the fact that Seokjin knew who he was. He couldn't hide the blush creeping up his neck as he stammered, "I-I didn't know you noticed me."
"I do," Seokjin said softly, then extended his hand to help Jimin up. "I thought you were running late?"
Jimin stared at Seokjin's outstretched hand, and for a moment, he just froze, caught up in the warmth of Seokjin's gaze. "I... uh... yeah, I was..." he said, finally taking Seokjin's hand with a shy smile. "Thank you, Seokjin-shi."
Seokjin chuckled. "Just call me Jin. Everyone does," he said with a teasing smile.
"Okay... Jin," Jimin said, his voice barely above a whisper, still caught in the daze of their moment. He found himself staring at Seokjin for a second too long, captivated by his gentle smile and the way his eyes twinkled with humor.
Seokjin raised an eyebrow. "I thought you were running late, Jimin."
Jimin blinked rapidly, snapping out of his thoughts. "Oh-yeah, I am!" he stammered, realizing he had almost forgotten about his class.
"And also," Seokjin added, holding out his hand again with a playful smirk. "I'll need my hand back."
Jimin's face went bright red as he noticed they were still holding hands. His heart raced, and he quickly let go of Seokjin's hand, bowing slightly. "I'm so sorry, Jin!"
Seokjin chuckled again, this time reaching out to lightly pinch Jimin's cheek. "You're cute, you know that?" he teased, and Jimin's blush deepened, spreading across his entire face.
Seokjin stood up, adjusting his clothes and smiling warmly at Jimin. "Well, you better hurry to class, Jimin. You're already late."
Jimin stood up, still flustered, and gave Seokjin a shy smile. "Thank you... Jin. I'll see you later!"
Seokjin winked as he started walking away. "Of course. Don't be late next time!"
Jimin stood there for a moment, his hand still tingling from the brief touch of Seokjin's. He touched his cheek where Seokjin had pinched him, his heart racing with excitement. "Did that just happen?" he whispered to himself before finally snapping back to reality and running off to class, a smile on his face.

Weeks passed after that encounter, and Jimin couldn't stop thinking about Seokjin. Every time their paths crossed, he felt his heart beat faster, but they still only exchanged pleasantries. He kept convincing himself it was just a passing crush. But deep down, he couldn't ignore the growing feelings he had for Seokjin.
Unbeknownst to Jimin, Seokjin had felt the same way for months. Ever since that fateful day when Jimin fell on top of him, Seokjin couldn't stop thinking about him either. Every time Jimin smiled at him, or even just looked his way, Seokjin felt a flutter in his chest. He had admired Jimin's talent, kindness, and the way his eyes sparkled when he talked about his passions. But Seokjin, being the quiet and reserved type, had never been brave enough to confess.
One afternoon, after another brief exchange of smiles between them in the hallway, Seokjin finally decided that he couldn't wait any longer. He walked up to Jimin as he was about to leave for class, his heart thudding loudly in his chest.
"Jimin," Seokjin called, and Jimin turned, his face lighting up when he saw him.
"Hey, Jin! What's up?"
Seokjin took a deep breath, stepping closer. "I... I've been meaning to tell you something."
Jimin raised an eyebrow, curiosity piqued. "What is it?"
"I like you," Seokjin confessed, his voice soft but steady. "I like you more than just as a friend. I've liked you for a long time."
Jimin's eyes widened, his heart skipping a beat. "You... like me?" he asked, almost in disbelief.
Seokjin smiled shyly. "I do. And I didn't want to leave it unsaid anymore."
Jimin's face turned a shade of red that matched Seokjin's cheeks. He had no words at first, just staring at Seokjin in utter surprise. But then, he finally spoke, his voice barely above a whisper. "I like you too, Jin. I have for a long time."
Seokjin's eyes lit up, his smile wide and genuine. He reached out to gently hold Jimin's hand. "Really?" he asked, his voice full of hope.
"Really," Jimin said with a shy smile. "I think I've been in love with you since the day I bumped into you and fell on top of you."
Seokjin laughed softly, his heart soaring. "Then, how about we go on a date? No more running late-just us."
Jimin's face lit up, and he nodded eagerly. "I'd love that."
And so, their love story began-a story of two hearts, slowly, but surely, coming together. The awkwardness of their first encounter turned into a beautiful foundation for something real and lasting. With every touch, every smile, and every laugh they shared, Jimin and Seokjin's feelings for each other only grew stronger.
Their love was sweet and simple, built on trust, laughter, and the quiet moments when they knew they didn't need to say anything to understand each other. And as they walked through life hand in hand, they both knew that this was just the beginning of their beautiful journey together.
