Chapter 51

Coming back into the neighborhood I was quickly became confused as to why there was so many damn cars parked along the side of the road on what seemed like every surrounding block in my neighborhood. I became slightly nervous whenever oncoming traffic came for fear that I 'd hit one of the cars due to the lack of space when there was cars lined up on one side of the residential road.

Pulling into my dad's huge house I parked in the garage seen as how Dad and Nila's cars weren't in there. They must've taken separate cars. Weird.

Nash pulled his in next to mine and Matt parked in the driveway. I hop out of the car and take the keys to the house, which dad had given me an extra set back at the beginning of my Freshman year. The others hop out of the car and follow me in to the house through the garage door, me leading. I turn on the kitchen light and nearly drop my phone and keys when countless faces pop out of no where and yell "Surprise!"

"Oh my gosh! Guys!" I say turning towards Nash and Hayes. "You did this all for me?" I say gratefully turning around facing the guys.

"Yep! You only turn sixteen once! Besides, I have a feeling this will be the last birthday you have before everyone knows your name so I thought, 'might as well make the best of it.' Right?" Nash says wearing his smirk. I run up to him give him a hug. I can practically feel the stares of countless people burning a hole in my back. I turn around and find everyone in shock as they look from me to the twelve other guys and Mahogany behind me.

Huh, I guess they never expected them to be here. I look among the people staring at the 16 of us and find Amber alongside of Austin, Maxx, and even Sydney showed up.

"Uh guys, let me introduce you to Cam, Matt, Carter, Taylor, Aaron, Jacob, Shawn, Nate, Kenny, Sammy, Mahogany, Jack, and Jack." I say pointing to each one of them.

Instead of all the girls throwing themselves at them, which I expected, they coolly brushed it off and smiled.

"Um, guys, and these are my friends, Amber, Sydney, Austin and Maxx." I say introducing those I were close with. I recognized many countless faces among the crowd as those in my grade, but couldn't put a name to their faces.

"Alright, guys, lets get this party started!" Maxx says, which I couldn't thank him enough for. He glances at me to which I mouth a thank you. I turn around and see that Mahogany, Nash, Aaron, Hayes, Matt and Carter were missing. I quickly made my way through the crowd and to the granite counter top, where countless snacks and appetizers were sitting out. There were metal buckets sitting on the kitchen counter tops filled with ice and alcoholic beverages.

"Oh my gosh, Nash!" I say. Now, It's not like I haven't drank anything alcoholic before, but I'd rather remember the rest of my birthday, so I pass. Other people find their way towards the food and drinks. I work against the crowd towards the living room as many people stop to wish me a happy birthday. Once I finally pass into the living room I see that all of the furniture has disappeared to God knows where and Mahogany is finishing setting up her DJ equipment on the far end of the living room.

Ahhh, that's why she brought her equipment.

I walk over to them and Mahogany gives me a smile.

"Hey girl! Like the surprise?" She says turning on her equipment and all the lights on her dashboard turn on, along with the strobe lights.

The crowd gives a 'Whooooo!' in response to the lights turning on and someone turns off all the living room lights.

"Oh my gosh! Thank you!" I say hopping up on her DJ booth and hugging her. Mahogany turns towards her microphone and speaks.
