The hospital room was filled with a sense of anticipation as Chen limped in with Thunder by his side. The doctor, a seasoned professional with a warm smile, greeted them kindly. "First of all, welcome," the doctor said as he shot his glance at Chen. "Welcome, Chen. I heard your ankle is injured," the doctor continued, his voice filled with empathy. Chen winced slightly, recalling the moment he had tripped on stage during a performance, his ankle twisting in an awkward angle. "It is, after I tripped on stage," Chen admitted, his eyes meeting the doctor's in a mix of pain and embarrassment. The doctor nodded understandingly. "Alright, would you mind putting Chen on the exam table?" he asked Thunder, who immediately stood up and carefully lifted Chen onto the table with ease. "Kris, would you mind to leave the room for privacy reasons?" the doctor requested, turning his attention to Kris, who had been silently observing the scene unfold. Kris hesitated for a moment, concern etched on his face. "I will, but I would like to know the results," Kris replied, a note of worry creeping into his voice. "I'll let you know," Thunder offered kindly, but Kris was already making his way out of the room, leaving the trio in peace. As the doctor started his examination, a sense of calm settled over the room. Chen's ankle injury was serious, but with proper care and treatment, he would soon be back on his feet, ready to take on the world once more. The doctor's expertise shone through as he explained the diagnosis to Chen, offering support and reassurance every step of the way. Thunder stood by Chen's side, a pillar of strength, silently vowing to help his son through this setback.
