                                *a few days later*

Thunder sat on a chair near Chen's hospital bed, his eyes fixed on his son's pale face, waiting anxiously for any sign of response. The room was quiet, save for the steady beeping of the monitoring machines and the soft sound of Chen's shallow breathing. Just as Thunder was about to speak again, the door creaked open, and a nurse entered the room. She approached Thunder with a gentle smile on her face, giving him a reassuring look. "We managed to remove the arrowhead that was left in from ripping it out," the nurse said, her voice calm but carrying a hint of exhaustion from a long day's work. Thunder's brow furrowed in confusion. He vividly remembered the moment Kris had ripped out the arrow, and he was certain he had seen the arrowhead still attached to it. He couldn't understand how it had mysteriously disappeared. "But... I thought it was attached when Kris ripped out the arrow... unless someone pushed it back in?" Thunder's voice trailed off, filled with uncertainty. The nurse shook her head, her expression solemn. "Here's the shaft of the arrow, see, no arrowhead," she said, holding out a broken and bloody arrow towards Thunder. Thunder's eyes widened in disbelief as he examined the broken shaft. "Impossible..." he muttered, unable to comprehend what he was seeing. "This silver piece was stuck in all those muscles?!" The nurse nodded, her eyes holding a glint of curiosity. "Now, let him rest while you figure this out," she said softly, before turning on her heels and walking out of the room, leaving Thunder alone with his thoughts. As Thunder sat in the dimly lit room, his mind raced with questions and doubts. How had the arrowhead disappeared? Who could have tampered with it? And most importantly, what did this all mean for Chen's recovery? With determination etched on his face, Thunder knew that he wouldn't rest until he unraveled the mystery of the missing arrowhead and ensured that Chen was safe and sound once again.
