A few days later
Thunder watched Kris walk down the deserted street, kicking a rock with each step. Kris seemed lost in his thoughts, mumbling to himself as he went. Thunder, perched high above in the sky, strained to hear a few words here and there. As Kris reached the end of the street, he suddenly stopped. The darkness of the night seemed to swallow him up as he disappeared from Thunder's view. "Will Kris come to war tomorrow?" Thunder pondered to himself, his thoughts following the young man now out of sight. In the distance, Thunder heard one last sentence from Kris before it all went quiet. "I HATE YOU STUPID AGENCY!!!" Kris's cry echoed in the night, filled with frustration and anger. Thunder couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness at Kris's outburst. Where was he going? What was he planning to do? The night fell silent once again, leaving Thunder with unanswered questions swirling in his mind. Would Kris show up tomorrow, ready for whatever "war" awaited him? Thunder wished he could offer guidance or a helping hand, but all he could do was watch from above. As the night wore on, Thunder found himself hoping for Kris's safety and well-being. The world below was a mysterious and sometimes dangerous place, especially for someone like Kris who seemed to carry a heavy burden on his shoulders. Thunder's heart went out to the young man who had disappeared into the darkness, leaving a trail of uncertainty in his wake.
