Thunder thought deeply, his brow furrowed in contemplation. "Those red wolves, they must've pushed it back in after Kris threw the arrow," he muttered to himself, his voice laced with concern. The nurse, a kind-hearted woman with a gentle demeanor, joined the conversation. She looked at Chen's pale face on the hospital bed and replied, "That's highly likely. Those wolves have been known for their cunning tactics." Thunder nodded grimly, his mind flashing back to a similar incident from his own past. "It happened to me before, but seeing it happen to your own son is heart-wrenching," he confessed, his hands clenched tightly. The nurse placed a comforting hand on Thunder's shoulder. "It's relatable, Thunder. No parent wants to see their child in pain, especially in situations like this." Thunder's gaze drifted to his trembling hands, the weight of his responsibility as a father palpable in the air. "In situations like this, it's almost guaranteed that something unexpected is going to happen," he mused, his voice heavy with resignation. As he exhaled a heavy sigh, Thunder knew deep down that this wouldn't be the last time he would witness his son in such a vulnerable state. But with determination burning in his eyes, he silently vowed to protect Chen at all costs, no matter the challenges that lay ahead.
