Steve Rogers was a tiny, little, pathetic excuse for a human being.
He was desperate to help his country, to serve in the war, but everyone said a very firm no. He was such a scrawny boy with Asthma and god knows how many other health issues.
He finally met a doctor in January 1943. A Dr Erskine, who was working with scientists, specifically, Howard Stark.
Finally, the day came for them to do the experiment, Steve Rogers went to a lab in Brooklyn and got into the same little capsule that Elizabeth did back in England. He stood there, very very nervous.
Finally they started up the machine and Steve was in pain. The experiment was a lot quicker than Elizabeth's and he was out with in and hour. He also came out a lot, lot fitter than before. Large muscles, abs, and no more asthma!
Everyone though it was amazing, that they were the first to do this... But they weren't.
