Liz woke promptly at 8:00, tying her long brown hair back in a messy bun:
(This is what Elizabeth's face looks like)
She walks out of her tent and to the meet up point.
She steps onto the plane and the others turn to look at her. She was stood hands in her hips, angry.
"You told me nine o'clock. How come you're already starting up the plane?"
"Lizzie, I-"
"Don't bother lying to me Peggy. I know you were planning on leaving without me." She crossed her arms.
"Liz, please. I just wanted to keep you safe."
"So it was your idea, then Peggy? I thought you were my friend. I thought you trusted me!"
"I am! And I do! I just didn't want you to get hurt."
"Whatever. It doesn't matter, I got here, I'm going and that's it. End of discussion."
Finally, the group arrived at the drop off point. After getting fitted with parachutes, Steve and Liz get ready to jump.
"You sure you want to do this, Stewart?"
"Sure as I can be, Rogers."
"Let's go then." And with that he jumped. Elizabeth soon followed.
They landed on the ground, walking in to the base quietly.
When one Hydra agent walked towards them from behind. Eliza kicked him, which launched him into the wall.
"How the hell did you do that?"
"I'll tell you later."
Steve looked at her suspiciously. They both moved through the base slowly and finally they come across massive cells with loads of people in.
"Steve. Find Barnes. I'll get all these guys out."
"Liz. I'm not leaving you."
"Go. we're running out of time."
"Fine. Be careful."
"Always. You too."
After freeing all of the men, Liz tells them to make their way to the barrier, to get out and wait for them in the West Forest.
She goes off to find Steve and finds him pulling Bucky off of a table. Liz rushes to his other side and helps Bucky up.
"Thanks Liz."
"Don't worry, let's just get out of here."
The three walk out and meet the others in the forest.
They all make their way back to base camp and everyone was there waiting.
Peggy ran up and hugged Liz and apologised for trying to leave without her.
"It's fine, Peg. I'm fine. We're fine."
As everyone walked inside they were all chanting "Captain America!" Which Liz joined in with, sending Steve a teasing smile.
He sent a sarcastic smile back, which Liz grinned at. He eventually returned a small smile, being swept away by the grateful soldiers.
Later on, Liz was sitting in her tent and reading a book. It came out recently, called the Hobbit. The door was pushed open.
"Knock knock?" Steve said smiling lightly.
"Hi, come in." Liz replied laughing.
"When we were in the base, you said you'd 'explain later' ."
"Oh, uhm that... So. Uh. I uh-" Liz starts stuttering.
"Right, Liz breathe, please. Don't say it if you don't want to."
"No. It's fine. Uhm, you know when you said you were the only supersoldier, when we first met?"
"Yeah?" He confirmed suspiciously.
"Well, you're not, and you weren't the first either."
"How? How do you know?"
Liz smirked. "Isn't it obvious? I was the first."
"How is that even possible?"
"You became a supersoldier in- what- January this year? I became one two years ago and I was working in the front line for the British until I came here."
"Wow, thats- wow."
"Yeah." Liz breathed.
"So you were made into a super soldier when you were 21-22?"
"Yeah, 22."
"That's a lot for a kid to put up with."
"I'm not a child. I was and am an adult."
"Okay then, miss independence." Steve said smirking lightly.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever Rogers. I should probably get some sleep."
"Good night Liz."
"Goodnight Steve." And with that, he left.
