Peggy and Liz kept in touch, but after a while Peggy stopped receiving letters. Peggy grew worried for her friend but couldn't go back to England due to her work.

Liz also kept in contact with Howard Stark. He had gotten married to a woman named Maria. However, he stopped recieving letters aswell.

Both Peggy and Howard still saw eachother and spoke about the stop of letters from their friend. Both were extremely worried about Liz. They wondered if Liz didn't want to speak to them at all anymore.

What they didn't know, was that it wasn't Liz's choice to stop.

Liz had been taken back by the government and used for more experiments. Painful ones. A lot more painful than before. They also gave her a lot more power, including making portals, elements manipulation and energy manipulation.

Liz went through it for years. Her emotions fluctuated a lot more than they used to.

Eventually, she just learned to turn her emotions off, to just act as if she cared, and not let anything affect her. In other words, just act cold.

The only time she didn't actually cold, was around her Godson Tony, Tony Stark.

When Liz finally went back to America in early 1970, to find that Howard Starks wife, Maria was pregnant and they asked her to be his Godmother and honorary Auntie. Liz agreed, of course.

Little Tony was born on the 29th of May that very year and Liz immediately fell in love. Even her, now cold, heart melted at the sight of her nephew.

She smiled at the little boy and looked to Howard and Maria, grinning from ear to ear.

Hearing Liz sing was a very rare spectacle, but she often did it for Tony, as it was one of the only things that helped him sleep when he was restless as a toddler. Liz hated singing in front of people, but didn't mind doing it for Tony.

Tony was the little light in Elizabeth's life, that light only grew when Tony started to speak. His first word wasn't Mumma or Dadda, It was "Ellie." Which grew to be his nickname name for her.

Watching Tony grow was the best thing that ever happened to Liz, he loved her so much. His love only increased as he got older, he had troubles with his father but Liz was always there for him, no matter what.

Abruptly came the day that Howard and Maria died. It was December 17th, 1991 when Liz received a call from a heartbroken, 21 year old Tony.

"Hey T, what's up?"

"Hey Aunt El, can you- can you come over? Please?" Tony begged.

Hearing his plea, she said, "Of course, I'll be there in a minute."

"Thank you." He hung up and Liz made a portal and stepped through it to be outside of Tony's front door.

She knocked gently. "Tony? You there?"

Tony opened the door, and seeing the man's tear stained face, she immediately hugged him.

"Hey, hey hey. T? What's wrong?"

"She's gone. Mums gone..." Tony cried into Liz's shoulder and she held him, tightly while he cried for his mother.

Eventually he pulled away wiping his eyes, taking his Aunt's hand and taking her into the house properly. "I'm so sorry, T. Is there anything I can do?"

"Just be here, please."

"Always." She continued to hug him for a long while into the night.

The next morning, Eliza woke up earlier than Tony and made him breakfast and coffee.

The days went on and Tony was struggling a lot.
